Dear friends,

Yesterday I sent our passports to Manila for issuing visa, following the request of VO. I did it using courier as I am not residing inside Philippine. Now I wonder how they return the passports to us? Using courier? And if so, do they pay for it? Shouldn't I have arranged a courier by myself?

Advance Congrats for the big event.
They will send you by DHL courier even if you use different courier while sending your PP.
No need to worry about the payment part.
They will pay for it.
The same happened with my case, I live in Korea, and I sent PP to Manila by using DHL
They returned our PP through DHL. The courier person did not ask me for charge or anything.........
Even I too worried much about this and did lot of research about this issue.
But finally it received very smoothly.
Embassy know the impotance of PP, so do not worry........

Please check your timeline how come your passport request is in February and your medical was done in march?

NDVO asks for Passports along with MR. If you see his MR and PPR are on the same date...

Hi Friends .. I have done my medicals on 2nd July 2014. My Ecas status is showing "Medicals Results have been received" since 9th July. Today I have received the following email from NDVO

""This is in response to your recent enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.


Please note that the file is awaiting further review by the case officer. Following which, the next steps will be determined and communicated to you.""

Does it mean background and security checks completed? with current trend when can I expect DM?

Please friends advice me on the above..

The recent trend NDVO follows is very unclear. This was just an automated reply to your enquiry. Based on this reply you cannot estiamte your file progress as anyone who sends a CSE will get this reply...
Did you get a passport request along with your medical request? Did they ask for the original passports along with MR or copy of Bio-pages?

I have applied on March 19th 2014. So i think Ndvo stopped requesting original passport.
I have received MR PRPF and copy of passport request on 11th June. I have fulfilled all requirements by 2nd July. Got 3rd line on 9th July. Waiting after that..

Hi buddy, most of us applicants are waiting after that. rallabandi in the above comment, me(third line on 22nd July) and a few other have also got PPR1(copy of passports) along with MR and RPRF. So nothing much can be done except wait in this new system... do post any updates you receive in your application... all the best

Hi Guys,

I did the landing on August 30th at Coutts boarder crossing between Alberta and Montana. The Officers on both sides were extremely nice, it took me 20 minutes in the U.S side and 30 minutes on the Canada side. The CIC officer was very respectful and cooperative, he explained the next steps and asked me if I have questions .. I asked several and he was answering with smiles ...

Very important thing to know, even thought that I have had a U.S visa, the officer gave me a refusal letter and said it is better to go back to Canada, finish the landing paperwork and turn again to go to U.S

Overall, it was an excellent experience. Thank you all, and wish all of you a happy ending.

Me too waiting for MR. Its more than 2 months since my processing started.

Hope Your DD validity is More than 3 Months.
Check with your Bank about the status. It should not take this long to get encashed

My DD is valid for 6 months. Checked with Bank. DD Still not encashed.
