Dear Forumites,

I have some very important queries, thus need an urgent and immediate response from you people. [/b]

We (myself, spouse and daughter) have got a visa (valid March 11th, 2015) and I am landing in Toronto on Aug 31st, 2014, but currently my wife is pregnant (5th month going to complete) and she would deliver the baby within Jan 15th, 2015. Basically, She has spinal cord problem, so I am planning her delivery in India itself.

My queries are:

1. Is that possible to get a visa for infant with in a month?
2. If not, could I get visitor visa for infant within a month?

Kindly revert at the earliest

Thanks & regards,

Babu B.

This is a very complicated situation because if you will land in Toronto in August then you must deliver this baby in Canada in order to get this baby the PR status or else there is long process of 2 years approximately for getting your baby a PR. You won't be able to get the baby a visa as CIC will refuse the visa. Seniors can comment better.

Stay blessed!

Dear All
Dear FSW 2013 forum Mates

My application processing started at LVO from April 09,2014. After that in May 2014 I received email asking to resubmit one application form and police certificate which I did submit with in 10 days. I was told following then;

"For information: lengthy background checks are now in process for your application. We are unable to advise when they will be completed but they are liable to take quite some yet.

We will contact you again as soon as we are able to. You need take no further action at this time."

Till now nothing heard from them. Any comments how much time they can take or someone experienced some similar situation.

Thanks in advance

Takes about 60-90 days. So you should get med requests soon.

Dear forumites,

I have just done my meds. However, the only thing I have is the form I received from CIC which has now been filled and stamped by the doctor. Is that the only form I need to submit back to CIC as my medical results or am I supposed to get more from the doc? I certainly know that the doc will be in communication with the CIC online.

Thanks in advance

Hey EminemB, dont worry you dont have to submit anything to you VO, the doctor will do that....Now you just continue to wait....................

Happy Waiting. 8)

Pls help in clarifying this. For POF, can I use a combination of my spouse fixed deposit account statement together with my own savings account statement to make the POF?

Secondly, I hope there is nothing wrong if I present a bank account statement that is different from the one I used for my initial application. I changed my bank because I got another bank with a higher interest on the fixed deposit. I hope in the event that am been asked for an updated POF I can use another bank statement inasmuch as it has the required amount.

Hi Senior Guys,

For applicant whose file got / is being processed in CPC ottawa Visa officeI have a question,

Does CIC Sydney or CPC ottawa Visa office inform after PER, through, an another separate email about the File transfer to the office ?

I strongly suggest you to land as soon as possible. It will takevtime for New Baby to get visa. Till baby get visa i think your visa ll get expire & then you have follow all steps again starting from IELTS, Application ready eyc etc.

Once visa gets expire before landing it means your PR is cancelled.

So i suggest you to fly soon & give child borth in canada.

Rest is your wish.

1. Yes you can use your wife's account statement as POF.
2. When they request updated statements, just include a letter explaining that you have changed your account since the application.

Hello everyone.. I need your inputs..

What are the charges for medical test per person in India (Ahmedabad)

and if a person is diabetic, then is it normally considered at visa office or it can create a problem??

Hi folks,

Just got my MR :o, can't express how happy I am :D Glad to be making progress in my application. Thank you to you guys, the forum has helped me a ton. Wish you all the best with your application.

I reside in New Delhi, was wondering if any of you have gone through medicals here and have any recommendations/suggestions?

Is paying the RPRF fee online better or should I get a bank draft? I have heard paying RPRF online makes processing faster, any truth to this?

How did you guys send the passport copies, PCC, bank draft etc.to NDVO? Bluedart?

Thank you sooooooooooo much

Apollo charges 4200/- per adult and 1500/- for child. You will need a prior appointment and a full day for your medicals. Its on SP ring road, so far from normal residential areas, take ample time and go for a medical with proper appointment and documentations...

As far as i know a diabetic condition is not a problem in medicals. you should declare it to the doctor though. I have come across many forum members, who are in Canada though they were diabetic...
