Hi Justin,
What is your Visa Office?
Many forum members have received PPR1 including me, from NDVO. The visa office must be migrating to a new system wherein they will ask for the original passport only when they are ready to issue a visa. This doesnt clear the reason behind asking for a passport copy as it is already submitted during application. I feel they may want to get the latest passport details, incase it has been updated since filing for application...
It is my guess though

Hi Seniors,

I am a 2014 FSW applicant. I have been seeing most of NDVO applicants have been requested for their original Passports which have not been returned for more than 2-3 months. This is making me crazy as mostly i will be in USA if by god's grace i get a PP request. I am wondering what will be my identity in another country if NDVO keeps my passports for that long? Has anyone in FSW 2013 faced this situation where VO is different and you were in other country at the time of PP stampimg? Please do advise.

As per your previous comment, your third line "Medical Results Received" was added on 19th July?
If that is the case, just wait a few months more friend, your PPR2 is not too far...

Congratulations mate.
Atlast you have achieved your goal.

Hi everyone,

I am an Indian citizen who is a resident of Kuwait for the past 4 years. I have wrongly selected Abu Dhabi as my VO. My application was received at the CIO on the 9th of June. Do you recommend that I send an updated Generic Application Form with the correct VO specified? Will they redirect the application to the right VO anyway?

For settlement funds, I have provided a bank certification letter detailing fixed deposits held jointly by my spouse and her father. Is this accepted by CIC? Will they need proof of funds held only by myself or my spouse or jointly by both of us?

Thanks.
