HI

I have received my BANK account from SCOTIABANK through AIRMAIL.
thing is I called up the LOCAL scotia bank branch in INDIA and inquired with them, on how many days it would take to deposit the funds and if I have to visit the branch for collecting the receipt and letter which proves POF, then the BANK staff said they won't be providing any sort of letter or receipt and I don't have to come to the branch since has account has been opened directly. I am really confused at this point on how to transfer funds and get POF statement.

even though my Indian SBI bank will do funds transfer to my scotiabank account, will the receipt and letter FROM THE Indian SBI bank will be sufficient enough for POF ?

please give some advice.

Congrats to all who got MR and DM...and best of luck for members in queue.

I am in Europe currently and want to finish my landing formalities next month.

I need forum members guidance in below things.

1) In what form(s) proof of fund I need to bring.Is 100% fund in INR in indian bank with bank manager letter suffcient.

2) How much minimum cash is enough and in which currecny. Can I withdraw cash form ATM at airport and show to immigrant officer.

3) Since I will doing short stay landing,do I need to bring educational originals and work releated documents.?

4) There is one list of goods to accompnay and goods to follow. Please guide in my case what things to carry for short stay and Do I need to declare things I willl bring later when I willl do permanent landing.

I have been asked to provide medical and right of residency fee how long does it take more for getting visa any idea ?


Also can someone tell me.

After asking the medical certificates and Right of Residency Fee when do the CIC ask for for funds and what form is acceptable to them.

At the time of application i showed them bank statement with Manager's letter of funds.

Recently though (since i heard about giving them medical and RRF), since i had an idea that its the step nearing to the end i have opened a dollar account as a plan to convert my local currency into an international currency which i shall be able to take along, i was wondering if thats ok ?

Wow .. Congrats to all who have been getting passport with Maple Leaf stamp..

Since friday not sure why my E-cas is unavailable.. anyone having that issue? its telling me i'm not putting the correct information for the credentials. Unfortunately, that is not the case. i rechecked it may more times and i'm sure i'm inputting the correct information. Please advise..

On wednesday they recieved the last police certificate they had requested.
Application recieved on January 3rd 2013. Medical done in february. RPRF paid in June all of that same year 2013. In February 2014 application turned to in process (we started processing your application....) New police certificates and updates of my current situation were asked. It took a while since i'm out of USA to get another FBI back ground check straight from the FBI. Now Cameroon background check (police certificate) was done. Only took me a day so i sent that over and now i'm not sure why E-Cas can't be accessed.

Hi Friends,

I am a 2014 FSW applicant. I am at a very initial stage as of now. Got CC charged couple of days back. I need your advise on my situation please.

I have an H1B, was in USA for 10 months last year and came back. Now again i will be travelling very soon to USA. Need to know if i can get my visa office changed from NDVO to CPC Ottawa in some way. If yes, then what is the process?
Only thing that concerns me is that i have seen while visa stamping, NDVO has been holding passports of some 2013 applicants for some reasons. My fear is that if i come back from USA for a few days especially to get PP stamped and if they keep my PP for long time then how will i travel back to USA? Please advise.
