I am living in Canada since two years ago. CIC received my FSW application on May 5, 2014. I have chosen CPC-Ottawa as my visa office. Nonetheless, I have received a letter from CPC-Ottawa that my application has been transferred to Ankara to be processed. Does any body has the similar situation? Does anybody know the reason? Is this normal?

Is that ur country of origin that they sent ur application to. This is normal, I reckon.

Hey mate.

In my opinion you can change your NOC at this stage. They will not ask you why have you done as they will assess you on the basis of duties specification provided on the reference or experience letters on company letter heads. Do not waste time and get your certificates and letters now so that you don't have to wait when you get your application package back.

I also sent self declation for job duties,Im also expection my file back as there is no intimation from CIO til date. I would like to know that if i change my NOC this time would they ask me the clarification for that?
Secondly, As im changing NOC ,i will try to get certificate of duties accordingly.Would they ask me why i given self declaration with different duties earlier?
I presently applied for instrument technician (2243) FSW13 and will apply for instrument engineer (2133) FSW14 coz this one is most suitable for me .
I could not apply under NOC- 2133 FSW13 because this NOC was not in the eligible list.

Any idea frnds....

Thanks for your response. But, I think the visa office is chosen according to your country of current residence, not your origin country, right?

I was just checking 2013 spread sheet.I am the record holder for the number of days between passport request and visa issued.173 days...whoooh....

Yes you are eligible to apply if your points are 67 or more with one year experience.

Hello Friends,

I am a 2014 FSW applicant. As of now i am on a very initial stage (CC got charged last week). My visa office is NDVO and i have read that it is really slow in processing the files. I am already anxious about the long wait thats coming ahead. Have seen some 2013 FSW cases got processed pretty quick and some even lag behind today, not sure why. Can anyone please share real time NDVO processing times if possible?

Thanks a lot!

Later i learnt that my spouse IELTS is academic one and same shall not be accepted , hence need to get general IELTS for her. I applied for that .Latest available date of exam is 6.09.14 . hence hv to wait for that too.
