one more thing check fsw2014 applicant forum, most of applicants near your timeline got PER sorry but you must get your package returned

Hi .. My application reached canada 0n 15.04.14 and did not get any email from them til date. I checked with bank, My DD is not yet encashed . Would you like to comment on my status and how much time it take to receive teh returned application ?

Please help! Bit complex!

I have applied to FSW in the month of MAY/JUNE.

there are 2 applicants in my file, me & my wife.

My wife's passport carries her maiden name before marriage, and we did not change her name as just after marriage we applied for Quebec visa as well. And now for FSW.

So there was no time for us to change the name of my wife as even the passport with new changed name takes minimum 1 month and we were in hurry.

Now my question is, now i have the time.

1) How I can change the name of my wife in her application? Because i want my wife should carry the PR card with her changed name after marriage.

2) As my application is under processing, for changing the name, now can i make the changes in her passport for change in name?

Experts please help!!!

Just for information ... We received our passport with address and name change with in a week time (week time including saturday sunday) in mumbai in January.

Decision MADE today 22Jun14. Exactly 10 months, 28 days from the day i submitted my application.

Wow one step closer.
Question, what are usually checked in medicals? if the medicals found something in you do they still report it directly to the Visa office or they will tell you first what they found out? Thanks!

First they made us read letters in different sizes from specific distance. Then recorded weight, height and blood pressure values. Took blood and urine samples. And lastly took chest x-ray. After a while we were called in to doctors office. He made a physical examination, asked routine questions whether we have contagious diseases or not and so on. After that we went to front desk where we have got receipts showing we have completed medical examination. We were told if sth unsual found in the results, they first let us know before sending to VO and if not they submit them without letting us know. And that was it.

I dont receive anything from Mexico visa office, I am kind of worried because I saw that when they ask RPRF the medicals dont take too long, but in my case is almost 11 days and no news buaaaaaaaa :'(

Hello forum family

- my passport was delivered to my brother in Toronto who then bought Canada Xpresspost envelope, enclosed the stuff and forwarded it to CPP-O
- Passport delivered to CPP-O on 2014/04/07
- Maple leaf stamped on my passport on 2014/04/08 & with the CoPR. (ADMINS please turn me golden and move me to Visas sheet )
- it started the journey back on 2014/04/10 and delivered to my brother in Toronto on 2014/04/11 where it was picked from mail box 18/4
- Passport then returned to my with another relative coming to my country where I received it in my hands today 2014/06/20

My ECAS status now showing:

with the fourth line added (not sure when):
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I THANK GOD for everything, it's all God's plan for my life that got me to this stage
and of course thanks for the forum admins here and all the forum family (not sure if any of the old forum guys still come here but hope they got their Visas too by now)
