Okay.. And anybody from canada can do it for me ( any friend or distant relatives ). Or it needs to be in blood relation only...please let me know...I don't have anyone in blood relation there. (GCMS Notes). How much time do they take to reply / send the notes.
My online status updated" they have started processing my application on 27 Feb 2014. They received my application on 22 may 2013 last year.even after 3 month I haven't heard any thing from NDVO. Should I wait till june end or send a request for GCMS notes immediately... Please suggest.

I am from Hoshiarpur. I applied under NOC 2174 as yours. my application was received on 22 may 2013 and transferred to NDVO on 7th Oct 2013. then ECAS status updated to 'started processing' on 27th Feb 2014. but till now no MR. I saw your application dates which were almost same as mine intially. Did you sent them any email before you got MR or they sent you MR on their own.
I am asking this question to you because a considerable time has been passed now and still I haven't heard anything. I am confused now what should I do. Do I request for GCMS notes . I also sent them a reminder but they didn't reply to the email either.

Hi,

Once you get your PER confirmation, you do not have to worry at all. They cannot reject your application without requesting additional documentation from you. So, you can send them an email asking about the current status of your application. They usually reply within 25-30 days.

Did you check the spam box of your email? There could be a remote possibility that they had sent an email & it ended up going into your spam box. If at all that is the case, then there could be a problem. Else, you don't have to worry at all. They might be doing some additional background checks before sending MR email to you.

Hopefully you will get and AOR within one month. after that, all depends on your file, one forum member smoothly got his visa in five months of his submission date, others are waiting for MR since 5 months of AOR. so hang in there, you have crossed one of the most important steps in your visa application...

I'm going to apply under NOC 2132, will send the application on 10th june 2014 and there are apprehensions on the forum about the CAPS being filled!!..1 question that's coming in my mind after reading all the curiosity and apprehensions of the CAP being filled is; The spreadsheet for 2013 PR shows positive reviews for applications sent in july, this is for NOC 2132 which is not the hottest but definitely a front runner.....so are the apprehensions a bit hyped or are the dynamics different this time !! seniors what's your say..pls help!!

Last year the scenario was different, people were not aware of the caps as well as the new requirements that popped up only last year. so applications coming were a bit late. and there was a strike in the CIO sydney that lasted for a few months, so comparing the scenarios will not give a practical estimate. but still 3rd june applicant with a 1000 subcap limit should be within the cap, but that is just my guess. dont be apprehensive, you have done all you can, now bravely face the most difficult part of the application process, waiting...

Today I went to vfs Jalandhar to send my passport and rprf fee draft..
They refused to accept the documents saying they no longer send the passport and rprf via them and I have to send it via courier only..this is true ?

You can send your passport via bluedart DHL.....Your passport will be delivered in one working day...... I did the same from Ludhiana.

the caps are updated, and only 8 complete app for 2132. Do the math, you will be in the first 300 caps, even if the application rate is increased...
