wonderful,..must say bro you been supersonic, just within 10 days you seem all set but moving onto G from G1 in a day and getting it the same day...not coming to my mind, specially when you say you took the lessons also

Thanks. Yeah, I had also not anticipated that we will get full G license so quickly. Actually, locals help here a lot. One brother suggested that though I might have years of driving experience it is better to get just one lesson. So, I followed that and got one driving lesson for couple of hours from an instructor. If it was not for that, I would have definitely failed the test. I strongly recommend that people who are appearing for G2 or Full G, should get atleast one lesson. It costed $100 (ranges from $25 to $100 based on the time spent) but was worth it. It gave several pointers on things to watch during the test and some of the important matters drive test examiner will expect.

Anyway, G2 is not so bad either. Against all the misconceptions, it is EXACTLY as G (unless you are less than 19 years of age) except for higher insurance premiuim.

I need your help. I have submitted my file on 12 may and i also have uci from last year app. I submit my file with new passport and my ielts has old passport number and last year they issued me uci on my old ppt. I forget to send old ppt...Will it creat any trouble and my new ppt have old ppt number as well. I am in tension your kind help will be appreciated.

in my opinion, you have to send your old PP copy with clarification letter through web form as you already have UCI no. and your case will be entertained under this UCI. May be they have your old PP in their record but from your side send the copy immediately.

Hi,

sent my application today. I included the birth certificate of my spouse(with translation and affidavit from Trans). Certificate does not mention the last names of her parents. for this she gave another affidavit giving their full names. but somehow forgot to sign the affidavit.

Will it cause any issue with our application?

Just received the passports stamped with visa and the CoPR.
Please update my record.

One question. Does anybody have any experience on whether they
stamp US passports with visa ? I received my son's CoPR, but there is
not visa stamp on his US passport.

No,US passports are not stamped with visas because they are visa exempt.CoPR is sufficient for American citizens

Yesterday I have received the stamped passports back along with CoPR, Original Transcripts. Visa was issued on 19th May and expires on March 9th 2015.

With visa in hand the long preparation starts now! We plan to move sometime in Sept/Oct ...

P.S. - Seems CIC does not issue visa for US citizen, received only CoPR for my daughter.

Dear All,
By GOD's grace & blessings of elders, we received our passports today along with COPR letter & IELTS test report ;D ;D ;D
I did not receive WES report though.

A BIG thanks to this wonderful forum & it members for making this happen. Special thanks to the admins & other senior members who have been supporting this, without any personal benefit.

My visa is valid till 28-04-2015. I now have to seriously start my job hunt & hence would like stay active in this forum. I wish all the very best to rest of the members & may GOD bless them too with speedy PR.

Another piece of info for guys preparing to land; please get some photographs from back home (needed for PR card - two, as per the specifications - 35x45mm). We got it clicked here and it is $16 for two small photographs, so paid like $48 for 3 of us !!
