In my birth certificate my father's name is written as XYZ and in Passport it is written as XYZbhai...

Is it cause problem if I do affidavit that both the name is of the same person i.e. father name.....

CATALYST..................Aimer.....is quite right do your meds now, and your wife as well....leave only the chest x-ray to be done after baby is safely delivered.

Hey go for your medicals. CIC will accept your medical results and you can do xray at the later stage. consultant people's are dumb. you have already got request for medical so why you do not go for it. medical panel dr. mention in the reports that your wife has this much months pregnancy and applicant would like to do x ray after birth of a baby. so CIC will give you time for submission of x ray report only. please go at the earliest for medicals. do not listen to your consultant. if you wont go for medicals your case might be rejected and you will be in trouble once your file will be closed.

Hello everyone,

My application reached CIC on 22nd of April 2014. No news yet. No charges on my card. I called them on +1 (613) 944-4000 but they are not providing any information (I tried twice) even not UCI no. I drpped them email on CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca. Is there any other way to contact them or should I wait for email reply.

Its just been a little over 4 weeks, you still have to wait about another 2 to 4 weeks before you start to worry....early days yet.
