Dear Experts,

My application was received by CIO on 23rd of April. My NOC category is 2145. I have seen number of people who submitted application after me have received their PER. i could identify following mistake in my submission - Submission of old Geenric Application for which was updated sometime in March. I am also regularly checking my junk/spam folder to make sure that I dont miss any emails from CIO. Should I contact them by dropping an email/calling. If yes what is the contact details and what information need to be provided in case of email.

If application is missing any details will they inform by sending an email or they will send back the complete application?? I am residing in Kuwait where I have not received some document sent through registered post so I am equally concerned that if they send through post, I may miss documents (which contain original PCC, IELTS, WES certification etc.)

Please guide.

they didnt ask for additional documents if important doc is missing they send applicaiton back

i advise send mail or talk with agent by following way, mail reply will take @ 15-20 days phone will serve purpose quickely

 Procedure to get CIC agent on phone
 Call at – 0016139444000
 Select 1 for English
 Then 1 for foreign affair
 2 for immigration
 Call is being transferred to CIC
 Then 1 for English
 2 for status
 1 for PR
 When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
 Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.

Submission of the old generic app. form which got updated in March 14 shouldn't be a problem. I did the same and my CC has been charged.

If CIC finds your application to be incomplete they will simply send everything back via regular mail with no tracking number. They will not send you any emails. However, you can contact them via email and ask about your status (usually done after 6 weeks have passed, their response takes 25-35 days). You can also obtain your UCI number over the phone and check your status online (which is not updated till you have your CC/DD charged).

Hello! Is it okay to validate another generic application form? My spouse's new passport just delivered today. We thought that it would be delivered next week. It came ealrier than what we've expected. His passport's expiry date that i validated is on november 2014.

hello everyone..I need your help...for indians english is our first official language or second...i am planning for ielts as wanted to apply under FSW this year...is there anyone who had given ielts..my ques is if i choose hindi as first official language than the point system changes for ielts..ielts give 4 points each if one scores b/w 5-12..and if one chooses english as first language their is a change in scoring points..they vl get different points for different scorings...please guide me for ielts

At first stage itself when application is with CIC in canada before its shifted to Local visa office.

If possible also give email id for local visa office of london.
