Reference to my FSW application. My Medical has been done. Can you please tell me that what minimum funds should I take along with me for landing in Canada as a permanent resident along with my family? My family consists of my wife and 03 kids; all kids are under 6 years of age.

I need your suggestion on below matter,

Current status on my application is processing start on 27 Feb and waiting for MR,PP request,

My passport going to expire in March 2015.So, Validity of passport remain less than year.

1. Address in passport is different than my current resident, would it be problem to stamp visa? or reason for delaying process?
2. One of my friend told me that for visa you need more than 6 month validity and to get PCC from PSK you must need more than 1 year validity of passport.

So, Is it advisable to renew passport to counter all this above queries and submit to NDVO at this stage ??? ???

Please give your opinion on this matter and suggest should i have to go for the renewal or not????

dear friend, kids age doesn't matter. your family size is 5. you need to carry $24,920 min. You have show proof for this amount while landing in terms of DD, or bank a/c in canada with this credit value.

I got PR letter today and will go to Seattle for landing next weekend. I'm working in Canada now an engineer. (My NOC was 2132)
So happy and it took 11 month to get PR.
Hoping to everyone will get PR soon.

ur cc charged? if ur cc charged when they charged it? one of my friend's application received by CIO in 23 April 2014. He didn't get any mail as well as his CC didnt charge

I am also hoping the same and keeping fingers crossed. But while some applicants have received PER's within a month for some it took months. So I
am just a bit confused about how long it is taking nowadays. Thanks anyway, are you based in
India? May I ask you the time (Indian) you received the email? Thanks again!

JUST GO TO www.passport.gov.in and check renewal rules. I think u can renew your passport now. As u r waiting for MR just likeus i would suggest you renew it inTatkal format. U will get new one in 72 hours. Hope this helps.
