in general LVO may not give ack. for doc. Just wait for 15days, you will get PPR. Otherwise raise CSE.

Thanks for the guidance. +1

Hello! Need help please! Just got my evaluation completed in WES. I am a nurse in th philippines and my NOC is 3012 for registered nurse. My canadian equivalency is completion of secondary school education and diploma (two years) and my major/specialization is nursing assistant. Am i still qualify? Can i still get 19 points for that is equivalent to 2 year post secondary prog credential?

Firstly it is not you education that qualifies you but your at least 1 year experience in the specific NOC...yes the 2 year diploma will work as two years post secondary, BUT you must ensure that you still get at least the 67 points required. And that your job letters and description and certification ensure that you fit the Noc for a registered nurse, because your course says nursing assistant.

Hello Seniors,

Mr Hope says that maybe someone here can advise me:

Just wondering if it is possible that having 1 year of skilled, continuous Full-time or full-time EQUIV (in part-time hours) at NOC level 0,A or B IN CANADA can really be worth a whole 19 points for FSW 2014? ie. 9 points for 1-year of FTE skilled work experience (5 years ago), and then simultaneously... 10 points for Canadian Adaptability (for having 1 YEAR skilled FTE in Canada)

That just seems a little disproportionate to me... however I have this exactly: I have 2 years part-time (FTE > 1750 HOURS) , continuous, skilled work experience (at NOC level A) IN CANADA! .

So now I am wondering if that 2-year part-time job all on it's own will give me 19 points for FSW?? (ie. 10 for Canadian adaptability + 9 for 1-year of skilled work experience in the last 10 years)?

Could it really be possible that I have a whole 19 points right there? (It is more than the 1560 hours required for 1 year FTE value)

Thanks to anyone who has any answers!!

Dear Friends,

I need your suggestion on below matter,

Current status on my application is processing start on 27 Feb and waiting for MR,PP request,

My passport going to expire in March 2015.So, Validity of passport remain less than year.

1. Address in passport is different than my current resident, would it be problem to stamp visa? or reason for delaying process?
2. One of my friend told me that for visa you need more than 6 month validity and to get PCC from PSK you must need more than 1 year validity of passport.

So, Is it advisable to renew passport to counter all this above queries and submit to NDVO at this stage ??? ???

Please give your opinion on this matter and suggest should i have to go for the renewal or not????
