I am afraid to say it won't work. it happened the same with me. I took all the internet, electricity, tenant bills and at the PSK the guy laughed at me. they have their own rules....this is how they work.

call PSK customer care at 18002581800 and get it briefed....

for changing an SBI account, it won't take much time. it'll be done in a day or 2 the most.....depends on the branch.....

Thank you for ur suggestions i will get more info from psk helpline.

Hi all,
I am confused about proof of funds/settlement funds.

1- as per cic you must show proof of funds for both accompanying and non-accompanying dependents. So if i and my wife only planning to apply for fswp and my father, mother & sister (23yr) are not included in my application, accept in additional family information form. Do i have to show proof of fund for 2 member or 5 member. That is for 2 members = 14720$ and for 5 members = 24920$. Please guide me which one exact i have to show in proof of funds.

2- for now i have prepared proof of funds for 2 member only. But the problem is major part of my funds are in account that my mother and i hold jointly. I heard that you can not show money in account jointly hold with either of your parents. So my question is how do i transfer those funds in my account ? Indian member please help me with the procedure to do so.

Thanks in advance.
Regards

1) i believe you are an indian. Rule of thumb.. Ur parents are not ur family but u are family to ur parents. So pof should be for u and ur spouse and may be kids if u have

2) if u have joint account with your mother then transfer required funds to ur accounts and get an affudavit done stating that your mother has presented you gift also take attested declaration from your mother to allow you to show funds as POF for FSW

you don't have to show funds for 5 of your family, if they are not accompanying with you.
there are different ways of transferring the funds, FD's are the best !!!

Thank you can2174 for reply.
I don't have kids so now i will have to show funds only for 2 members.

Regarding transferring funds from my mother's account to my account, can u further guide me with the following ?
i and my mother both are paying income tax. So this amount is white income. Now how do i transfer this amount to my/spouse's account ? My wife don't pay income tax. Should i simply withdraw it and cash deposit in our account or should i use cheque ? Also do you know anything about gift cheque ? I never heard about gift cheque.

Thanks in advance.

As mr hope suggested get fd on your and your spouse name from money v in your joint account.
If u want to transfer money they do it by cheque. You just need to get an affidavit done that your mother is giving you gift of xyz amount and its her will. Approach a notary they have ready made templates..

gift cheque should be in single denomination and you should keep enough funds sufficient to that. first, It all depends on your BANK, so talk to them tomorrow......

Dear Friends,

I have prepared all requested documents according to Medical Request email I received around 10 days ago. Now I wonder to which address I have to send the requested documents? (CIO in Sydney or directly to the Visa Office)

Also I am planning to visit Ankara, Turkey where the responsible VO for my application is located.

Do you think I can take the required documents to the visa office in person? Or should it be send via a courier only?

Please advise
Thanks

Thank you all for your kind and immediate replies

I got my answer for proof of funds.
Thank you both mr.hope and can2174.

I have few more question regarding education.

1.- i am from india and after my higher secondary education (i.e 12th std.) i have completed diploma. After completing diploma i have completed bachelor's degree.
Now i think my case fits as per cic education point system which is "Two or more Canadian post-secondary degrees or diplomas or equalNote de bas de page 1 (at least one must be for a program of at least three years)" - 22 points.

2.- do i have to provide ECA for both the degree and diploma ?

Thanks in advance.

On your Medical Request letter, the VO's address is mentioned on the bottom of the page. you have to send it there by courier.

you can't go and see your VO in person if you want to, it usually happens the other way around.

Friend, you have to sent to your VO only. No, you have to submit by email (if they asked) or send by courier/post.
No visit is required at this stage.
