Thanks! But please clarify the 2nd statement. What info should I need not change? I must update some info as I have a new job.

I have follow up questions, I'm not planning to claim points for my new job - been here for 8-months only and they don't provide company letters with job descriptions. My previous experience will have enough points.

1.Is it okay if I'm going to submit my new company letter without the job duties? I'm not claiming points for the experience anyway I had a company letter with complete job description in my previous job, would this be enough? Also, do I need to write this current occupation in Schedule 3, Schedule 12b even though I'm not claiming for it and I don't have a company letter with job
description?

2. My other concern - my passport will expire on December2014 and my Wife's passport (dependent) on May 10, 2014. Renewal would take time and I'm afraid that my NOC will be filled very soon. I need advise if I should go ahead and submit my application despite the concerns in passports expiry dates?

Thanks for the help and I'm sorry for the long questions.
I think it would be better to have your job description and duties equally specified in your current Job.

Go Ahead and apply. I do not think that passport expiry date is part of the requirement at this stage. If you scale through the CIC, then you will have plenty time to renew your passport during the processing at your local VO.

Thanks AberdeenGuy. I think I'll take your advise and go ahead with my application. Would you please share your thoughts as well on my concern regarding work experience?

Guys i just relazied after i did the medicals that cic had also asked me to update my height and eye color!!! should i do this seperately or is it already included in the medical test tha i did? if i am supposed to do it myself, nhow should i do that??? this is freaking me out!!!

MEDICALS COMPLETED

I went for my medicals evaluation on April 30.

My three children were also evaluated (urine test and physical examination only).

The medical examiner also asked for their latest school reports.

So I had copies of their mid-term school reports for December 2013 dropped off later in the afternoon.

Note to others: take copies of your children's latest school reports with you for the medicals as well.

Hi Joemimi,
they also asked me to update my height and eye color, I made a table something like biodata form and then mailed them.

2. We started processing your application on April 2, 2014.

3. Medical results have been received.

Kindly update the spreadsheet. Thanks in advance.

1. you can write a self deceleration letter of your duties and can brief them clearly, why you're not able to get the job description letter from your present company. for claiming points on the OLD job, the complete job description is sufficient. yes, its a must to write about your current job on the schedule 3.
2.Don't worry on the passport expiry of yours. Its MAY, and if your spouse's PP has already expired, I think its not advisable to send them expired PP copies. Please contact Senior members on this issue.

Hello Friends

I had applied for FSW Immigration last year 2013 under NOC 1112. However, due to invalid Birth Certificate my application was returned. I have UCI number on the return application.

Now, I would like to apply for this year under new rules for FSW immigration.

a) Is it ok , if I change my last years primary NOC from 1112 to 1114 in the application form as well as get my experience letter modified accordingly from my employer.

I mean , will it be accepted or rejected by immigration officer

b) I have my sister who is permanent resident holder of Canada. To show Blood relative, I need to provide proof like BC.
However, neither her BC not her 10th Leaving certificate shows name of our parents.

In such case, can we provide her Indian Passport as proof ? In her PP , our parents name are mentioned or do I need to provide affidavit that our parents are same.

Experts please help.

Regards

Transit Visa,

Dear All,

I was bit confused about transit visa requirement. Today I called UK embassy. However, they charged me 1.75 pounds per minute but I got the information I required. The person on the line said clearly we don't need transit visa for UK if we are not staying inside the airport more that 24 hrs. Regarding other countries please find below information.

Transit Visa Regulation for Indian Residents.

In order to ensure a smooth and hassle free tansit through two Schengen States or when booking a Journey from India to USA via Canada, please pay attention to the transit visa regulations.

1. Indian passport holders in possession of a valid visa to USA and traveling to USA via Canada require a Canadian Transit Visa.
Routing Example : Bengaluru - Frankfurt -Toronto- Newark - Frankfurt - Bengaluru

In the above routing, the indian resident would require a Candian Transit Visa even if there is no stopover in Toronto.

2. Indian passport holders in possession of a valid visa to their final destination, but transiting via two Schengen States, require a valid Schengen Visa.

Routing Example : Chennai- Frankfurt- Paris -Chicago- Frankfurt- Chennai or Chennai- Frankfurt- Munich -Chicago- Frankfurt- Chennai

Transit Visa requirements also applies if one of the transiting airports is Vienna or Zurich. e.g. New Delhi - Vienna - Frankfurt/Munich/Dusseldorf - USA/Canada

In the above routing, the Indian resident would require a Schengen Visa even if there no stopover in Frankfurt or Paris or Munich.

3. Indian nationals can Transit without Visa via FRA or MUC if holding a valid visa for the destination and a valid Visa for any of the following countries

Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Ireland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Romania, UK and USA (the approval notice I-797 is not valid document for visa free airport transit).

For further information on visa regulations, please contact the respective Embassy or click on the links below:

I hope it can help you to relief from lot of questions for transit visa.

For USA yes we need transit visa first.

Regards,
Ramandeep

May I ask, why was your birth certificate considered invalid?
