I believe you should be ok and you will be awarded 19 points. The difference between your ECA report and fatima is that whereas fatima report says equivalent to 2 years post secondary study, yours as you said is equivalent to a 2 years canadian DIPLOMA. THEREFORE YOU ARE FINE TO GO.

I have had my interview since 17 March. After, the interview, the visa officer said he will need to review all my documents along with new ones I took to the interview and get back me in few weeks. Its seven weeks now, no medical request, no reply in any form.

Is anyone with similar experience?

Did he say he was happy with your eligibility, so just needed to process the papers, or would you say he was unsure and wanted to check the documents before reaching a decision?

Most March interviewees have had their MR now. Sometimes they can take a while though - e.g. MM2 (from a previous programme) had a positive interview in February, but hasn't heard back yet.

Hi, my application was received at Nova Scotia on April 11, 2014. I want to know how much time is it taking currently to get a PER? I have come across a few members in this forum who have applied in March-April and they have received their PER within a month. Is PER really being issued within a couple of weeks nowadays for all applicants?

so if choose to re enter canada using public transport, it is mentioned that i need a travel document with a one time entry permit to Canada.

So can i apply for this travel document from india or i shhould do it only upon landing in Canada?? How long will it take to get this one time entry travel document if i apply from Canada?? Or can i apply it from india though i have officially not landed in Canada as an immigrant yet??

If you return to Canada in a private vehicle, such as your own car, you do not need a permanent resident card. You can use your Record of Landing (IMM 1000) or Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5292 or IMM 5688) instead.

1. make a solemn declaration / notary why u are unable to get the reference letter.....explain in detail..what were your duties and responsibilities,
if possible get your manager to vouch for it in the declaration
2. attach your request to the HR and their denial email...
3. attach all ur employment docs (offer letter, employment letter, confirmation letter, salary slips, tax docs, appraisal letter etc)

Thank you for the advice Digitalsphere, my Team leader agreed to help me with a Notarized affidavit mentioning my roles and responsibilities. I am currently ready with Offer Letter, Employment Certificate, Latest payslips, last couple of years Form16's and appraisal documents and finally has the email from HP denying to provide the requested roles and responsibilities document.

Hope this should help me to get an opportunity with FSW2014 process...

HR will deny...that is expected....

However you will have to talk to them personally....negotiate....show them the official CIC requirement regarding the reference letter...and if need be talk to the next higher up manager..... sometimes HR may deny to issue the letter however remember your manager can issue the required letter on company letterhead....

I received the same response from the HR of a previous employer, I worked with 9 years ago...but when I talked to them over phone and explained my circumstances, they did issue me the required reference letter.

If nothing works out,

Seniors please help me know did any one submit a supervisor notarized affidavit with roles & responsibilities mentioned, employment docs (offer letter, employment letter, confirmation letter, salary slips, tax docs, appraisal letter etc) and got through the PR.

I have no further news since my notification of positive eligibility, and I see on NDVO some of us who send their application on February already have MR.
