Seniors need your inputs and advice urgently..
We are planning to land in August, but during that month we need to visit the US for some personal reasons.
So what is the best way to do from the below:
1. LAnd in Canada first, do the landing formalities, then go to US for a week and again come back to Canada. Here i will not have the PR card in hand, so will the COPR be enough to re-enter Canada after a week of landing... ??
2. Land in US first finish my personal work, then later land in Canada once for good. so in this case, should we book the onward flight as a round trip, break journey at US?? and here how will the baggage be treated, from US to Canada, will it be local or international baggage allowance? becoz the first time landing will have extra baggage. If it can be a round trip with a break journey at US, will the baggage be safe for a week? or can i take all the baggage with me to US then again from there to US..
Can any seniors / people who have done this clarify this clearly. Becoz i am about to book our tickets shortly...
please confirm urgently. TIA
thanks
