FSW 2013 Applicants Timeline- Lets Network Here.

I'm from Pakistan new to this forum and planning to apply for Canadian PR.

I've few doubts regarding ECA please help me.

1. I have completed my B.E in Electrical , For ECA Do i need to go for WES or any other organization?

2. In WES website its written that

For Secondary Education:
"To be sent directly to WES by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
Documents must be verified by the Controller of Examinations."

Do these docs should be sent directly to WES by Board or by me?


HIGHER EDUCATION: Universities and Institutes of Technology
"You may have photocopies of your original Degree Certificates and Marks Sheet/Result Card
attested by the HEC. Please request for all attested photocopies to be placed in an official
sealed envelope and have the envelope returned to you to forward to WES."

I have all the mark sheets/transcripts and degree . Still do i need to get the transcripts from the concerned university in sealed envelope or I can forward it right away??


Since I m living outside my home country obtaining these sealed envelope will take soo much time .
WHAT SHOULD I DO PLZZ ADVISE!

Also could you please provide the checklist -mandatory documents that I've to submit for ECA.. Plz any Pakistani bro out there???

I have a query for FSWP 2014 NOC code 2281 Computer network technicians - Since i am working as network engineer and have masters degree(verified by WES)
can i be eligible for this NOC since it says Computer network technicians .
would appreciate your advise.

To my own knowledge and experience, u don't need to send your secondary credentials to WES since u have post secondary education. All u just need to do is to have them notarized or certify true copy en sending your application to CIC. as per sealed envelope, my brother the truth is that wes will not accept your transcript and mark record if it is not in a stamped and sealed envelope.Had it been u have them in a sealed and stamped envelope, u can send them on you own by putting d address of your school as the sender bt since u dnt have dem in a stamped/sealed envelope, WES will reject it.

The process is that u will send the photocopy of your credentials on your own to wes, contact someone who can help u follow up how your transcript in a stamped/sealed envelope can be send to wes.

Hi all,

Now that FSW 2014 is here, though the Ministerial Instructions are yet to be announced, can anyone advise from experience if a pending PNP application disqualifies one from applying for the FSW.

It doesnt disqualify you. The only thing is that they will kno that u have a pending PNP with them and u may be called for interview to know may be u want to snub the one that is pending and your reason of snubbing it. if you can convince them better, u will get ur FSW approved.

U are eligible, you level of education doesnt affect the work u a doing. U will be ccepted if u apply bro. it is added advantage

Just my two cents, I would add a little more details with the job description. In my case, I enumerated at least 6 bullet points. Also added the hours per week, salary, and even added the programming languages I was using (I know these does not apply to you but I bet it might help if you can have something like this -- I could be wrong on this).

Thanks for reply.

I forgot to mention that I have appointment letter which details my salary and benefits. But my concern is about the duties, it is only three duties even those are not in detail. I mean when compared with HRDSC NOC detail Its like only 2-3 of points can be said to be matching with civil engineers duties.

Hi everyone,
Received sms from VFS stating that processed visa application has been released by the Canadian High Commission on 24/04/2013, but the ecas is showing in progress.

Here is my story:

I am the PA and my husband works in Saudi. I had brought his passport and submitted with my passports on 24th March 2014. Since his contract with his employer will be expiring soon and there were no DM's from past many days, I had sent a CSQ explaining the situation and asking advise regarding this.
I got this sms and checked my ecas, the status was In Progress. Then I checked my mail, I had received a reply from the Delhi Immigration stating that my application has been finalized, and passport along with visa shall be sent to you.

Feeling excited, anxious and waiting to hold the passports in my hand.

Hey Prashant. Hows it going when do u plan on reaching Canada.
well as for ur question there is absolutely no formality with the Indian customs. all the fun starts here in Canada. make sure u track ur package. the forms B4 and B4a that u get stamped at the airport along with an additional receipt that you get from CBSA needs to be faxed to the Fedex office in Toronto ( if your using Fedex).The fax should reach just before your package enters Canada or just after or else you will be charged duty. there is no point showing the stamped forms to the delivery guys. hope that helps.
