i have a query

as i m waiting for D pp reached and its been 60+ days after pp reached delhi ..security checks can be reason for delay.is it like security ceheck is done after medicals.........
as its been a long wait for me ,is this delay normal?

Yes ...my lawyer (David Cohen) says that 4 to 5 months is normal processing time. Even if you raise a CSE, there is no guarantee that you will receive a reply as your application is within normal processing times.

I need advice On reference letter for civil Engineer 2131:

I applied for FSW 2013 but after six months of deliberation CIC rejected my application for not providing the reference letter in required format(from one of my employers) .After this, I have tried very hard with the company people but they have provide me only with following letter:
[flash=200,200][/flash]
"This is to certify that Mr. X (Roll No. 123456789) worked with XYZ ltd. in civil engineering department of Energy Power transmission division as a graduate trainee engineer - Civil from xx.xx.2011 to xx.xx.2012.

He resigned from the services of the company on his own accord and was relieved from the services of the company w.e.f. closing hours of xx.xx.2012 . He was employed full time during this period.

During his tenure of employment, he was involved in the execution of the civil works for air insulated substation projects.His main duties were quantity estimation for civil works, Co-ordination with design consultants for review of design and drawings and monitor construction work schedules.We wish him all success in his future endeavors.

Now that FSW 2014 is here, though the Ministerial Instructions are yet to be announced, can anyone advise from experience if a pending PNP application disqualifies one from applying for the FSW.

if you are selected from PNP and you have applied in CIC with PNP nominated certificate and if your application is not finalized than you can submit new application. but from two application only one is finalized.

Thanks for reply.

I forgot to mention that I have appointment letter which details my salary and benefits. But my concern is about the duties, it is only three duties even those are not in detail. I mean when compared with HRDSC NOC detail Its like only 2-3 of points can be said to be matching with civil engineers duties.

PS: For Salary and benefits I have appointment letter.

I believe it was rejected because your annual salary was not stated in your reference letter. also the number of hour you work in a week must be clearly stated in your reference letter.

U may also contact NOC 2011 to see how job functions for civil engineer were clearly stated. This shoul guide your former employer on how they will draft your letter.
