Still NO MR, PPR :-[
Applicants here with same scenario haven't received any BCG checks at their work places as well.
What are NDVO guys upto. What are they doing with our files... :-\
God please HELP us... :-[ :-[ :-[

I understand your frustration lids.
God knows what they are doing, I also sick of checking Ecas every week.
Better to get busy in other stuff, waiting is hard.

Hi Everyone,

In the end Warsaw office woke up and sent MR docs, both for me and my wife, to my represemtative on April 16th. ;D Admins please update my info in the SS. MR request came appx 6 months after PER and 10 months after my application filed in Sydney office. ECAS updated on April 19th. Feeling relief. At least we now know our file has not been put aside and sits in dust.

Couldn't give update earlier sorry about that. I had a baby boy 12 days ago. I was taking care of him and his documents to send to Warsaw. But Warsaw reacted faster then us. I am now trying to complete a package which includes updated forms ( Generic app form, additional family information) due to my son's birth and his documents (such as birth certificate, passport, photos and CAD 150). I will also send police clearance docs not to make multiple deliveries.

Landing Experience- Calgary- Very important information.

POF - While showing POF to the CBSA official, they checked my DD, they asked me whether my DD is signed at the backside or not .... it was not.. The lady officer told that if it would have signed at the backside, then it is not acceptable...

So please check that ur DD should not be signed at the backside when u come to Canada.


At Immigration office , it took around 30 mins in queue and 15 minutes for processing of the PR card.

Did you pay with card (credit/debit) or demand draft?

If you used card and your card has been charged, at least that could give you an indication that you are in the queue for review at CIO. If you used a DD, can you check with your bank to confirm if the DD has been cleared.

Either of the above could give you reasons to have high hope that all will be well.

@much_mann..I put my debit card details as my preferred payment method but I have checked my bank and my card hasn't been charged. I'm pretty worried.

Why does not Ankara start processing? All other visa offices have started. Even the files which were related to Ankara and have been transferred to Warsaw after May 2013.

So, just to let you know guys, I have entered the "Waiting for DM" club today. 8)

My ECAS shows - Medicals have been received. Will call the bank on Monday to check if the RPRF has gotten encashed yet.

Congrats on landing in Canada . Quick question , from which bank you made the DD , as you don't have any account opened at specific bank before coming to Canada , was it OK for the bank to made a DD on your name. What bank and branch info you provided to enchased the DD ??

Made DD from HDFC bank, New Delhi, Vasant Kunj branch - They have tie up with Scotia bank

It was from RBS. Previously I had sent a dd for child addition from bank of Maharashtra and was able to know the status then as well. So am sure BOB can find it too. Suggest u visit the bank in person.

i visited today morning in the bank. talked with branch manager. he said how can we know that in which branch in Delhi they have deposit your dd for en cash.

He doesnt have to know which branch. All he has to know is whether DD is encached- by entering the DD details in his system. Meaning when and if the Money had went out of BoB books. Its simple, not sure why they are playing dumb.Even other BoB brach should be able to check cos its all centralized.
