Guys...

Warsaw Visa Office requested MR and RPRF from me. They gave me a link for the payment of RPRF.

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/poland-pologne/visas/processing_fees-frais_traitement.aspx?lang=eng&view=d

I am not so familiar with the methods on that page. I always prefer credit card but there is no credit card option.

I also found payment page on CIC website, which is;

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?lob=proc&cat=perm

This method of payment looks very easy. I want to do the payment through CIC website, but I am concerned if it will be accepted by Warsaw Office or not, because they didn't tell about that option in the email, they sent to me. What do you guys think? Is payment by credit card through CIC website available for anybody and any visa office and can be used in my case?

Congrats slowokan,

As I have seen from the forum everyone seems to point that VOs do not accept online payment. The London VO, New Delhi VO and Warsaw VO websites clearly mention that the VO does not accept online payments. I have only checked these VO websites; not sure about others. I also remember one of the forum members emailed LVO regarding online payment and LVO refused accepting online payments.

However, there is another side of the story as well. CIC website clearly shows that there are two ways to pay the RPRF:
1. Online through CIC website which is here https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/order.do?lob=8
2. Through the respective VO.

If you choose 1, then i guess there should be no issues to pay online. THIS IS MY GUESS ONLY. I also remember one of the forum members has paid this way and sent the payment reciept to LVO.. If I am not mistaken he is still waiting for the response from LVO.

If you choose option 2, then the only way to pay is through a DD.

I think when the VO says that "they do not accept online payment" ... they mean only the VO... they are not talking on behalf of CIO. So,i think online payment via CIC website shudnt bite them.....

I guess we will have to wait for the forum member who paid this way ... a week ago or so.. to know for sure...

Good luck

Dear Friends,

There was one of our forum members who mentioned paying the RPRF online and sending the receipt to the VO. Does anyone rememeber who was the member? What was the result?
.

Kindly comment.

Thanks

Congrats to all those who got good news today. I, too, have received the email for RPRF (no meds yet though). As promised earlier, I have defied all odds and paid for my RPRF online. I got the receipt and emailed it to LVO. Let's see what they say.

Thanks in advance for all your kind wishes...hopefully the process is closer to the finish. Good luck to all.

Thank you very much, Mahyn and rawdah, for your care..;)

Its depends on your local VO that how much time they are taking to process your application & issue you medicals. They usually send MR by email. They only send by regular mail if there is any problem in your email.

2nd its request to you please give your application timeline too. So that it can help others also.

Many thanks. Initially I had issued from CIC in receiving email regarding my application reception and they send again on my request. So not sure if this is the case now for MR. Do ECAS tell LVO has send the MR.

Landing Experience- Calgary- Very important information.

POF - While showing POF to the CBSA official, they checked my DD, they asked me whether my DD is signed at the backside or not .... it was not.. The lady officer told that if it would have signed at the backside, then it is not acceptable...

So please check that ur DD should not be signed at the backside when u come to Canada.

At Immigration office , it took around 30 mins in queue and 15 minutes for processing of the PR card.
