Just got the passport with the PR visa !!! My ecas is also showing Decision Made.
Here is my timeline if this help:

VO: CPP-O
App sent: Aug 6th 13
App rcvd: Aug 12th 13
PER rcvd: Nov 12th 13
Med,PCC req: Jan 15th 14
Med done: Feb 1st 14
Med sent: Feb 10th 14
Passport req: April 9th 14
Passport sent: April 10th 14
Visa rcvd: April 17th 14

Hi all,

This is my first post in the forum. I'm happy to share that I got my visa stamped

I'm from India and applied for FSWP Canadian PR.

Application sent in October 2013
Got the acknowledgment in Feb
Was asked for PCC, Medicals & Passport in March 1st week
Sent the medicals, PCC & passport to New delhi embassy on 28th March
Status changed to Decision made on 4th April
Received passport on 14th April!

That was super quick

I am going to land in toranto in last of April. I have visa on my hand written passport thus applied for MRP. It will be issued on Monday. Can i travel to canada with old passport with visa and new MRP attached with it or is there any problem with this?

No problem friend. You can travel with both attached passports if visa is valid.

hi all. 3rd line added for Medicals received. Please be aware that u don't have to wait endlessly for the forms after the mr. U can visit the hospital after a week of mr and u can check if they can find forms online. If hospital doesn't find the forms u can do upfront medical test and send the umi forms to embassy with an explanation letter. They will accept. This is what happened in my case.

i've one query about physical verification..

one collegue of mine got physical verification on feb 14 ... he was of same category.. during his verification they asked each and every one about their names and designation who was present.. by the time they also called my collegue as he was absent..!!! they verified and confirmed about every employee working at that time... he gave all the answers correctly..!!

now problem is that i have just put on my file at that time .. My DD got enchased on 7th feb,, but PER was not received and they also enquired about me during the call... and my collegue gave him positive response that I'm also working with them... and after 1 week I got my PER ...

As i was also in leave... how come they know my name..??? As nobody in the office gave any details of mine because there was no need of it...

Will I get another verification or I will not get any verification..??? My collegue does not have any further response since verification...!!!

what are the procedures of NDVO ... can't imagine...!!!!!!
seniors please suggest me...

As far as I know u need to get a certicate from a jeweller on number of grams each jewellery is with photographs.U need to declare this jewellery at customs in airport and get an endorsement. This will ensure u don't have problems while getting it back. Taking into canada is not a problem.
