Lots of congrats for Visa. Wishing you a great life ahead in the dreamland. Can I ask how many days NDVO takes to return passports ..Its been 15 days I had sent the passports..No DM yet..I am waiting for them very eagerly as me n my 3 yr old son has to move to US to join my husband. We had informed NDVO about the situation and requested to speeden up the process for us but seems of no use.

I received MR, RPRF, PCC and PPR request on 10th April.

In the email from NDVO, below line regarding PCC is mentioned

From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate for yourself and your spouse from India.

Question I have is both myself and my spouse have stayed in different states in India since the age of 18. Do we need to provide PCC from all states as is requested in the mail OR a single PCC is required to complete the process.

Seniors please advise.

You just need one PCC from India. Better go to PSK where your passport was issued from and the address matches with the one in the passport. That will ensure that you receive your PCC in matter of hours from PSK. All the best.

Hey guys, I got DM on 6th march and have been waiting for my passport since then. Its been almost 40 days and ive sent 6-7 emails to NDVO but no reply. Can u kindly please help me out. Has is ever takes this long for anyone to get PP back or is something seriously wrong??
My consultant told it took 45 days for one or two guys.

If I were you, I would go and see them personally in Delhi.

Just wanted to understand if our VO's have holded our files or they are actually in BCG checks...

I sent my application last jan29 under noc2134 but i think i did not make it to the cap. I am waiting for my package to be returned though i have not recieved emails from cic regarding the status of my application. Please, could you tell me how long cic usually inform us the status of our application? I sent email to cic last mar12 asking about my application but no reply from them since then. Please reply guys. Thanks!

In my case processing start on 27 feb and till date no mr or any other document requisition, I also check with employers there is no BG till date.

So, dont understand why NDVO holding our files

I sent a CSE on 3rd March, i got the reply on 3rd April. But i sent my package on 20th Dec., and received my package back on 8th March. Do the math. u will get a reply shortly...

I applied in aug 2013, just want to tell you that few days back one officer from ndvo just came to my office for physical verification of the experience shown. Please be aware that physical verification is also possible .!!but still got no reply from ndvo . Neither any status update on the website, except"we received your file on ______".
Still waiting for a miracle to knock my door .!!
Lets pray to god nd hope for the best ..!!

Hey lids

I checked with my employer recently.
They got no call so far.
But this is not necessary they visa office will call them, they do random verification.
So we just can't judge by this, where is our file..

Anybody else have similar experience please share.

Send your VO an email. They will reply. Write "Urgent" in the subject line, and they will reply even quicker.
