I am so much worried if my package will return.

guys need your help. if we have to send additional docs to ndvo and if we send it by courier than it will be given in hand or drop in post box.
if drop in post box than who will sign as receiver. if no one is there to receive our package than it will be return or what as courier company required sign for delivery as proof of delivery.

Dont worry. They have a person at the gate who receives all the mails. They also sign-off the Receiver papers of the Courier Guy by Stamping on it. I sent thru Bluedart.It was delieverd the next day...All the Best..........

Don't worry brother, we are in same boat. I did my medicals on 5th Feb and is waiting for DM.
Meantime i registered with CIIP at chandigarh in April.
Along with your current job, you can utilize the time for your future prospectuses in Canada.

hello friends
still no DM for me......PSP n med request on 21 Dec,submitted both on 29 Jan...RPRF DD en-cashed on 3rd Feb....so its been 69 days since i submitted my passports...
I was thinking to raise a CSE with NDVO....my wife is pregnant and her due date 12th june....as per doctor and airlines rules she can fly till 12th may...will it be right to mention this in my CSE...may write NDVO............ that I want to fly before 12th may so that we can have the delivery of our baby in Canada, so please issue me visa before 12th may and if it is not possible to issue me visa before 12th may please hold my visa till the delivery of my child, so that i can add my child to our application before NDVO issue the visa.........
Please suggest......I am really worried now.....please help........

Why don't you visit NDVO and request expediting your case now? In my opinion you should. All the best.

I'm also planning to go to canada in june
i'm confused that should i take the return ticket or one way
i have to come back in two months. Do they object to return ticket??

Secondly i have to go to Edmonton as my dest. city
But i'm getting flight through Toronto
My immigration will be cleared at Toronto or Edmonton??

Dear dips, you should book a return ticket, why waste money. It won't be looked down upon in any way by immigration authorities. You've got PR man, so multiple entries are not a problem (after you get PR card). Make sure that you return after getting PR card, hence plan for 3 months rather than 2 - just in case.

Hi I am working in Gulf but applied through an agent in Canada. And they applied my paperwork but it was applied through New Dehli. (Long story short)

I was asked to undergo medicals and submit the passport before end of feb, however since I was working in Gulf, i couldn't submit my passport and the agent sent a letter to New Dehli stating the passport cant be submitted at this moment, as of now the status of my application is

We received your application for permanent residence on May 28, 2013.

We started processing your application on January 6, 2014.

Medical results have been received...

Any idea how long more???

Hello Everyone,
Congratulations to everyone who got their PR or atleast PR approved. I'm new to this thread and need some help. I've recently applied for my FSW PR and my PR documents reached Sydney Nova Scotia on April 3rd. What is the first communication we receive on our application? Is it PER or AOR? Also how long does it take to receive PER and AOR?
Also does it depend on Visa Office? I've given my visa office on Ottawa as I'm in Canada right now (Calgary).
