Proof of Landing funds..

Can we use Demand Draft in Indian currency as proof of landing fund or is it necessary to make the DD in CADs ??

As I called my bank for Demand Draft in CAD, they refused to make it in foreign currency. Please suggest if anybody has made demand draft in CADs.

i would suggest to.open a canadian bank account from scotia bank in india to.park ur funds..or u cab go wid travellers card also issued by various bank like amex, icici etc

Hi Guys,

I have received my package back yesterday. I made a blunder and appeared for IELTS Academic test and not for IELTS general test.
Now I am in a trouble, no dates available for IELTS in April anywhere in India. Is there any solution for my case. I have following specific queries:
1) If I send my app back with updated IELTS test results (which is possible in May), will my application be rejected as April deadline will be over by month end. Is there any chance that my previous application date 2nd Jan be considered with the updated documents (IELTS).... Mine is NOC 2146, so no issues of the 300 cap.
2) Is there any other alternative to the IELTS. Can I send my package with =out test score and request them to wait for the official IELTS test scores?

Please advice.

Pre-2008 People used to send without IELTS, now not sure though since they calculate the points before sending it to VO. if you can get 67 points without language I guess IELTS could be send on a later date ( assumption ). The new FSW gives lot of importance to Language so i really doubt the chances without IELTS. maybe someone else can throw some light on the same

According to CIC instruction guide

"If you do not submit the results of your official language proficiency test indicating that you meet the required proficiency level with your application to the CIO, your application will not be processed and will be returned to you as incomplete".

I heard that the private ielts centres can araange u date even 2 or 3 days before the exam, even if online eegistration is closed as they have contacts with idp and bc. ,so i just suggest u to contact with 2 3 good centres, if they can help u..

Its not for me dear!!! i was trying to help fwsp2013aero... with the limited knowledge i have .. i was Pre 2008 applicant and many of us didnt submit IELTS since the processing was 4-5 years time frame..usually VO ask people to submit when they start processing !! but now the case is different as rawdah shared ...
