Hi all,

I received medicals 2 days ago and along with it doc request. One of the docs requested is "Letter from your current employer".

Can you please tell what kind of letter do I need? Is it just a letter certifying that I work for my employer? Anything special needs to be specified in the letter? I do not want to disclose to my employer that I plan immigrating at this stage.

Good afternoon all,

I have just had my medical done and the doctor does not have the electronic system so he has posted the medical off.

Does anybody know where the medicals get sent because they have def not sent it to the visa office, I'm just slightly concerned.

They have their own doctors at LVO, so I would have thought it would go there, at least in the first instance.
I thought you were in the UK, where all of the UK practices support "e-Medicals". It would be great to know where you went... so we can avoid them when the time comes
I hope you are able to get it sorted out soon, hopefully of course they have sent it to the right place!

Proof of Landing funds..

Can we use Demand Draft in Indian currency as proof of landing fund or is it necessary to make the DD in CADs ??

As I called my bank for Demand Draft in CAD, they refused to make it in foreign currency. Please suggest if anybody has made demand draft in CADs.
