Hello All

I need following advise

I applied for FSW 2013 and my application status showing in progress. Recently i got married and i dont know how to include my spouse with my application. Still i didnt notified Visa Office regarding the change of my status.

1. How could i include my spouse with my application? Only notifying VO via case specific Inquiry is enough at this stage or i have send separate application, forms and supporting documents to CIO- Sydney, NC with fees???

2. If i wants to notify my change of status to VO, then what kind of documents i have to attach with my inquiry?

3. Recently i got one mail from Vo regarding documents request. They wants my educational certificates copy. Do i need to send them via reply mail or via case specific inquiry or by any other means?

Please suggest me

Thanks a lot

You have to raise a CSE with your specific visa office to inform them about your change in marital status.
Include scanned copies of :
- the marriage certificate
- your spouse's educational documents
- your spouse's passport

The VO will come back to you with what you need to do further to include your spouse in your application.

For the copies of your educational certificates, send them physically to the visa office with a covering letter and attach the communication from the VO requesting the documents too.

In my opinion , excuse for leave and back to work is not much meaningful for them. You should not even make them to think about your secret planning for canada which is unknown to employer etc , in your email content it is not visible why you want stamping ASAP.

You should let them know about your settlement plan in canada , things to do or pending decisions in India etc , some strong and genuine reason is required here.

Keep points which are out of your file contents. So that they won't go back to your file.

Details of documents which you provided should be number and explain your situation first and then connect your email body saying that I have submitted below documents to NDVO.

Also it is advisable to write.. May we request to please process our case........ Rather putting words like , most humble etc ...for immigration officer moderate way of request and politeness is recommended in writing. Don't make a strong request tone , just gentle request they want.

Please PM me if need more info on this.

What about this extract

I would like to bring to your kind notice that we received the request to submit above mentioned documents by 9th March, 2014. We (myself & spouse) are both working in Saudi Arabia. As per Indian Law we cannot send Indian passports overseas so we traveled to India to submit our documents along with passports.

My husband and I had recently joined our current job and my husband is still under probationary period so we are not entitled to any other leave except emergency leave. So we took 15 days emergency leave which we have extended up to a month and we need to be back to work within the same time frame to safeguard our jobs as we have already exceeded the limit.

Most humbly we request you to kindly consider our case for early processing.
