Hello everyone, FINALLY received my passport today with the Canadian PR Visa. I also received 2 copies of COPR. One with photo and other without.

A million thanks to everyone in this forum. I really really appreciated it.

My timeline:

Application received - July 10th
MR and RPRF request - Jan 23rd 2014
Medicals done - Jan 26th
Passport request - Feb 26th
Passport received by CIC - March 4th
Passport posted back to me by regular mail by CIC - March 6th
I received the passport today - March 17th.

Visa issued - Feb 26
Expiry - Jan 29, 2015

Fellow CPC applicants - A word of advice - Please read the email sent by CIC carefully (unlike me) and use a prepaid canada post envelope or sticker with your return address. I used a UPS envelope and they sent it by regular mail.

Usually, medical received gets updated with 203 days of medical done.
I Completed my medical last week from Bangalore.
Still no update.

Does Medical from Bangalore (Fortis) take time to reach NDVO??

Yup, but i think we r nt so lucky.. God is testing our paitence.. Nowadays only a few candidates from NDVO r getting MR mail, rest r waiting like we r.... Lets hope fr the best

Very quick PER for all January- February 2014 applications sent.. then a slow down..NDVO keeps us guessing... everyday wake up and check and start the day in a gloom.. cheers us up NDVO!!! we are the future in building Canadian Economy..

Congrats, dude ;D... I too done my medicals at Fortis, Banglore on Feb 24th, but till now there is no Ecas update regarding medical received. I am really worrying much, so pls pray well fr me to get the medical received status sooon...

I think the delay is completely due to Fortis - they are taking ages to upload the report! You will also get the update soon - don't worry!

yups... NDVO may be busy with completing processing of our senior applicants... how long they are waiting... nd we lucky being inside the cap in a short timespan...jus think.. our seniors were in high pressure from that step itself coz of the duration for getting PER was too long... so let them get relief.... our days will come soon...
