Check your account on wes page whether the payment has been made there or not. If the payment has not gone through then the fees will show as outstanding.

Dear Dschroeder

In which sense you are asking?? TRV depends on the situation! if you are applying as student its till your study permit expires.. if you are talking about tourist visa its 6months.. if you are talking about seniors or super visa its 10 years..

Thanks bhassid22 - I was asking of the TRV that CIC issues when they approve permanent residency - so since I received PPR now, and will send my passports - what is the typical validity of the visa they issue for permanent residence approvals?

The PR Visa is valid for 1 year from MR I guess. You have to make a landing before that expiry. Once you land, and get your PR card, you are a Permanent Resident for 5 yrs subject to a minimum stay of 2 yrs in Canada in that 5 yr period.

All the best !!!

in delhi @ bachucanada guys they are doing extensive background checks so please payy heed i am out of race it seems though

Dont lose heart, I suggest you gather all docs you have which support your employment like Payslips and any other correspondence that you have from your clinic. Take print of all mails and even sms/whatsapp texts which indicate any comminucation with your employer. If possible, get someone working there into confidence to vouch for your claim of employment.

Armed with all this, approach the VO and clarify. You said you wanted to leave this job, so you have nothing to lose.

Go ALL OUT on this issue, tell your employer that you will sue them for misleading the CHC guyz. You are very close to the destination, I suggest that you give it all you have got...

I am sure your efforts will not go waste...All the BEST !!!

You are right, this forum provides more up-to-date and useful information to all who aspire to go to Canada. A lot of these consultants don't have such current and up-to-the-minute info.

Guys!!! its been a long thread .. am a hard core fan of this thread and been active as much as i could.. most of the times reading the post of others and their worries (wish i could help).. today i was going through the thread from the start... its awesome.. (took me hrs and hrs to glance every page ) how some people speculate, reply based on their understanding... no where i could find anyone spreading negative thoughts.. even tho today we know when the CAP was filled for each NOC but was happy to read that some peoples dreams were not crushed by any members but was giving them hope and ray of light. Today many have become experts based on experience of handling their own files and interacting with other members. This form is now a threat to all consultants who think they are Messiah's for Immigration process and without them no one gets tru.. I am damn sure some consultants would be following this group to understand the immigration process better so that they can charge innocent souls and make a living (i would rather say make a "Killing")..

God Bless all who are waiting for PER/AOR/MR/DM.
Have a good day and hope it rains from all visa offices...

Correct !!!

If nothing else, one can at least start up a consultancy after reading through this thread...LOL

These consultants are leeches...On another forum, a guy said he was asked Rs. 40,000/- by a consultant for getting his Educational Credential Eval done...Something easily doable in half that price, with zero trouble...that's how they fleece someone who might be slightly ignorant...

Hi Dschroeder,
Its valid for one year from the stamping.. with in a year you should come to Canada and stay atleast a day and can come back. Just finish your paper work and come back...after that you have five years to remain in status... I think they might change it from next year to three years instead of five... not sure on this one..

Good luck

Friends....

I have created a FB group for FSW 2013 - NOC 2174.... please PM me with ur details.... it's high time that we know each other for real...this will go a long way in supporting each other in Canada especially those who do not have any relatives/friends there....
