Thanks, Devkis....but opening lines are not like u hv mentioned. I mailed to cic-sydney-enquiry mail address u gave me and to the NDVO mail id given
on cic website. NDVO replied and asked me to fill the enquiry form and thru that i cud get my file no. i hv not received any mail from cic till now.....so no PER yet. i doubt what cud be the reason for not sending PER or if they'll be sending in coming days....why so late?

I see. At least you have the UCI and so you can check the status online. Please keep an eye on your mailbox - especially SPAM/ Trash folders. Also, it would be worthwhile to log a case inquiry to request CIC to send you again your PER email and to NDVO to send you AOR email (if the file is transferred to NDVO already).

I'm a silent reader of this thread since last 1 year. I follow all your mails. The way you help all the readers give your valuable suggestions is highly commendable. I salute for your selfless service.
I too have a small question. I had a telephonic interview on 4th February 2014. It lassted for about half an hour. I think they called me for job verification. They asked me very minutely about my company and my job duties. They even spoke to my boss and confirmed many points from him also. Most of facts told by me and my boss were almost same.
Now my ecas status is showing
1. We received your application on 1st feb 2013
2. We started processing your application on 27th jan 2014.
Now more than a month has passed and still l haven't heard anything from ndvo. Can you please suggest what could be the possible reason behind this

Friends, one question.

Once received PER on mil, is it advisable to start with process of getting PCC for myself and my spouse (in order to save some time) or should I wait for email from CHC in Delhi? My details are as under:

NOC: 3215
App Received at CIO: 29 Jan 2014
PER Received: 6th March 2014

Go ahead with your and your wife's PCC and save the time..... PCC is valid for 1 year from the date of issuance so nothing to worry....

Hi Jiggzy - thanks for your work on the spreadsheet!

Just a minor issue with our data - although we do not know when exactly Vienna received our file we did receive contact from them for the first time on 28 August 2013 so maybe this date could be input?

Still nothing further from Vienna for us or anyone but at least Borojevic now has the second line so fingers crossed they might start moving soon.

It's usually valid for 90 days unless otherwise stated on the PCC itself.

Proof for what I said is quoted below... PCC validity is country depended (Immigrating country) and not depended on the validity stated in the PCC by the citizen's country or from where the applicant wants to take the PCC... For example, if Indian PCC is valid for 6 months stated by Ministry of Foreign affairs and UK PCC is valid for 3 months stated by ACRO it doesn't matter..... CIC has already fixed validity for all countries PCC and that is uniform for every countries....

Finally, you are required to provide the following additional supporting documents, if they have not already been submitted.
 Police Clearance Certificate(s): From each country where anyone in the following list has resided for six months or longer since the age of 18: the principal applicant spouse or common-law partner (whether they are accompanying or not) each dependent child over the age of 18 years (whether they are accompanying or not)
The Police Clearance Certificate from the country where you are currently residing must be no more than 12 months old. The Police Clearance Certificate from any country where you no longer reside must be issued after your departure from that country or no more than six months before your departure.

Actually it can be found in the GCMS Notes if you have requested one since. Mine has arrived on the 24th of July, 2013 to Vienna.

U used agent? Yes.. as you know these things are not in the hands of agents.. these things happen on case to case basis and CIC procedures/practices..

bro... our prayers are wid u always... nd since this is the first time i applied nd dint use any consultant so cant say much.. but looking at your timlines u shud get dm soon... but since u already have ur tickets... fax/email them and visit personaly as well requesting them..
