DD in INR = Canadian High commission payable at new Delhiprayer said:To whom should we take the DD, receiver general of Canada or The Canadian High commission payable at new Delhi?
I know friends who left their job to avoid this situation. ou should have taken into account the time period for VISA processing. NDVO earlier has a recod of holding PP for atleast 3 months..It is only this time the duration has decreased considerabely ..but only for some.husman said:Dear forummates
Update on my status
Went to CHC, NDVO today..the lady would not let me enter or communicate st all waited there for 2 hours no luck...rest now totally tensed
Islandbabe, jiggzy, rawdah gimme ur suggestions
A recap of my case
My wife primary applicant n myself
V submitted our passports on 4th march and along with rprf, pcc....meds received on 28 feb..... now v r requsting ndvo to expedite the visa processing as v r on emergency leave....v r requesting them n our ticket is on 15 march.....please advise friends
write a mail to the NDVO with urgent in the subject line. But I guess it's not going to help as the visa office has already mentioned that we should be prepare to keep our passports with them for a minimum of two months. I would recommend staying put.husman said:Hi guys do u suggest i write to delhi immigration office or raise cse....delhi immigration replies within a week 2-3 working days...please suggest....

Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian Rupees. Only bank drafts (demand drafts) or certified cheques are accepted; cash is not accepted for fee payment. The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.2243Dreamer said:Hi Aman, it's not mentioned anywhere that INR and CAD have separate addresses I suppose.

am sorry to say, the link doesn't say CAD and INR have different addresses. I made the DD in INR for receiver general and it got encashed in 8 days. I just want the people who are yet to make DDs to know either of them is fine.amanpreet77 said:Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian Rupees.
