Islandbabe,

What will be next? I read on the forum about AOR. Will I get AOR once NDVO gets my application? Once Sydney Visa office has checked the documents, but still NDVO will check all documents once again? Do they check finance and do back ground check for everyone or one in 10 or 20? Reason why I am worried is there is not much of finance in my account right now. I had planned to keep in my account next month. Please advice on the finance part.

Everything is happening too quickly than I had anticipated. Please advice.

Dear Friend, Hope I can answer though you addressed to Islandbabe...

you will get AOR from NDVO with in 4-6weeks. then NDVO can check all the details you have provided on your application including background checks. Normally finance is not the back ground check if I am right. They will ask you to show the Finance proof during interview or during your landing you have to carry enough money. No need to worry on finance part; you can set back your account next month ....

Well Bh................your points therefore seem to be ok. And all looks totally ok from what you have posted. Send them a case specific enquiry....could be that your Case officer has your file in a corner, or is just lazy, from your notes you will see who it is or perhaps you are so handsome the case officer keeps you file on her desk to admire your pictures :). So all in all for you it looks delayed but not denied. :) If thats any comfort...........

To make clear all your points
Points : 69 (No concern as got 7+ years experience if they count 37.5 hrs / week and if 30 hours / week it would be 9+)
No travel history till date. Not even leisure tours out of country.
Docx authenticity : No issue, worked for two companies i.e. one current and older one still in business and large enough, infact Govt. of India award winner company for the development of new technology. Hence, company profiles are excellent.

If they look at economically whether I can establish in Canada or not then my spouse is also very well educated and have cleared the evaluation from the professional body of Canada.

Rest, I don't think that I have left out any thing else

Now please comment

Thanks Goal Canada,

Actually I am already in Canada on student visa with my wife. Any word of caution for me with respect to application sent to NDVO?

Thanks once again.

Pretty much agree with what GoalCanada said, but finances are important you need to get some cash back into your account and be mindful of the fact the NDVO is moving very quickly these days, at any time you may be asked to pay Right to Permanent Residence Fee and thats more money you will have to find in a short period of time.

Happy Waiting Islandbabe.

@ bhFSW2174, dood, don't depress yourself. NDVO is working fast, that doesn't mean your case has some issues that's why you are not getting response. Look at us (Singapore, London, Kingston) which haven't heard from respective visa offices as well. I have just reviewed spreadsheet and there are many 2174 case outstanding at NDVO. My guess is, that the Visa Officer to which your case (& rest of 2174) assigned is currently busy dealing with backlog, or it maybe possible that he has many pending decisions to make on previous apps. Once it's finished, you'll get everything done at lightning speed. We already know that Visa Offices are bound to issue specific number of visas per year, so maybe this restriction goes down Immigration Officer level as well, like he might have issued enough visas in a specific time that his quota is finished for sometime, so when it's back, you'll hear something.

There are a lot of things at this stage, but 1 thing is for sure, it's not specifically your case. I have seen NDVO guys waiting for DM for couple months now, and when your time comes, it'll be all wrapped up in maximum 2 months time (from Medicals to DM).

I have already raised the CSE and below is the answer received from Visa Office

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Further review is needed before a decision can be made on this case. We are therefore unable to provide you with a definitive time frame for finalization. We can confirm, however, that processing is proceeding and there is currently no action required on the applicant’s part.

We will be in touch with the applicant or authorized representative directly should we need any further information or to advise of the next steps. Until then, we will not be able to provide any further information regarding this case.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Well maybe. They can seach over internet with matcing names. Like for example, when I was taking my interview, and I told that I have worked on few of the websites, he handed me a paper & pen to write it down, and he then googled & viewed those websites. And without facing the screen towards me, he asked me to describe what's on the website, and how it's functioning. So yes, they may view your twitter, facebook accounts to review the type of person you are.

Dear Islandbabe, Rawdah Jigzzy and all other member can you deduce anything from this reply..

What do I understand from this reply... Your inputs please. As fast as possible dearst member

Have you got AOR? Was it 10 months time & when did you get it? How many months are left?
