thanks to all for ur guidance. even i have checked with my consultant, and as per him, its not for FSW applicants.

chance r there to pay fee for outland applicants

go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/infORmation/fees/index.asp ------->> select permanent residence -------> then select RPRF for paying outside canada( this page updated on 31 st jan, look below) ----->> pay online

Rakhi32,

It is better scenario but not the bad at all. I have submitted PCC from my home country starting from my birth day. Don't worry, it won't make any issue.

hi fren. .i received mail from NDVO stating to submit police clearance.

I am confused about the duration.As I stayed in India from my age 17th to do my 12th.But at the time of filling form we were requested to give data from age 18th.I contacted Indian embassy and they told me that they will give police clearance from the date I stayed in India. I am confused as if in my cic form the data is from 18th birthday now I will submit my police clearance from age 17th..will it will be harmful or any senior has done this before.plz suggest :(

Nizam...... Brother.......

You the one whom I was watching so closely these many days with the feeling that why god did this to you after encashing CC and giving so much expectations!!!

Frankly saying I thought your application would have been rejected due to some problems.... But now atlast you are on track....

See, this is the real proof that god exist.... He do some trails to all of us and he would have written something about all of us in his book.... If his wish for you to settle canada as PR whatever hindrance comes you will overcome that and reach to your goal at last..... :)

You are the first applicant whom I am going to colour with my full heart.... :)

hey guys,

GOOD NEWS: Everyone waiting for PERs or CC/DD charge, you can obtain your UCI/Client ID by calling 1-613-944-4000 even from outside Canada :D

QUESTION:
Anyhow, I did the same and obtained my UCI (I have visited Canada in the past on a visitor visa but did not know my UCI). It has been more than a month I sent my application for FSW1 under NOC 2146. I see folks who applied in Feb 2014 have already gotten their CC charged.

When i check my status online, i see the following:

Application Processing Times
At this time, you may use this on-line service if you have:
sponsored a member of the family class;
applied for permanent residence from within or outside Canada;
applied for a permanent resident card (replacement or renewal);
applied for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship);
applied for Canadian citizenship for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen (on or after January 1, 1947);
applied for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship);
applied to renounce Canadian citizenship; or
applied to resume Canadian citizenship.

What i don't understand is "has my file not been opened at all"? I mean shouldn't the online system at least say "my application was received on so and so date..."? ???

Thanks a ton
