Hi Frenz.. By God's grace i have got PP back with Visa and COPR for me and my family !
In my COPR country of residence has been mentioned as Sweden.
I applied for FSW from Sweden , at the time of Medical request i was asked to submit copy of valid sweden visa and date of return to India which i had provided to CHC New Delhi.
I hope country of residence mentioned as Sweden should be ok??

Congratulations. I don't see any problems arising from that, as long as all other details like your name, are correct.

Many congratulation ravin!

You might be living in Sweden since more than one year or holding visa for more than one year may be that is the reason.
It's country of residence not country of citizen. To me it's ok.
Don't worry.

I'm sure many of you must have gone through resume building tips by Qorax. If not, then visiting his posts is a must.

There are somethings I understood myself and added up in my Resume which were not discussed anywhere. My 2 cents.

- In the highlights section, mention one bullet point such as this.
Holding a Canada PR visa and planning to visit during 'this' period and why you want to work in Canada.

- In the Education section, mention something like this;
WES evaluation of Indian Bachelor's Degree – Equivalent to Canadian 4 year Bachelor's Degree
Document ref # xxxxxx/abc, dated xxxx, 20xx, provider - World Education Services

- Build a small section towards the end of CV and provide some details about your PR details.
• PR visa & CoPR Issued – xxxx
• Occupation code – xxx, Category – xxxx
• Place of landing – abc
• Preferred place of service - Toronto, Ontario, however open to work anywhere
• Accompanying Spouse (also holds PR visa). Works with xxx, India as xxxx

Get a WES evaulation for your spouse's qualification as well for their Resume.

The Canadian reader would feel much more comfortable with you when he knows these thing.

Thanks Adrenaline.

Thanks SAP_BW , yes my visa validity was 1 year however my stay was just 5 months.. and in my generic form i had filled current country of residence as Sweden during the application process..

Then country of residence should be Sweden. No problem and don't worry if have mentioned this in MR form.
Even if you travel to canada from India then also it won't make any issue as the date when you got visa and COPR doc you were in swedan.

Dear Friends,

I would like to inform you that my journey came to an end. With all your prays and help, my friend (in USA) got my passports with visa last Thursday and i am supposed to receive them myself in the coming week.

Here is my timeline, maybe it can be useful for some people and dear admins, please update the spreadsheet according to the following timeline:
- Application received by CIO: 10/5/2013
- PER: 9/7/2013
- MRR & Documents Request: 3/10/2013
- Medical tests done: 5/10/2013
- Medical Received on ECAS: 17/10/2013 (Around this date, don't remember it exactly)
- Complete Documents Received by CPP-O: 10/1/2014
- PPR: 8/2/2014
- Decision Made on ECAS: 9/2/2014
- Passports Received by Visa Office: 12/2/2014
- Passports (with visa) & COPR shipped from Ottawa: 17/2/2014
- Passports Arrived to my Friend's Address in USA: 20/2/2014.

My visa is valid till 12/10/214, which is 1 year almost from my medical tests. Also, in their email they requested all the family passports and my wife's passport returned with no visa, as she's European, so visa is not required for her to enter Canada, but they sent her COPR.

Also, as i noticed (with some friends), that the PPR email i got was according to a new system different than the emails requesting of applicants passports received before. one of the differences that they didn't ask for our photos to be sent with the passports.

What i want to say also, that the guys at CIC are so understanding people. It's not only procedures and regulations, they are still human beings who are studying our cases and they understand if something wrong is going with our documents and it's out of our hands. This happened to me as i sent some documents after 2 given dead lines but they understood this was out of my hands.

Wish all the best for all our friends here who are waiting for their next step and i will try to keep you updated with my landing procedures (which actually i didn't decided it when i will do it).

my last words for you, guys ..... [size=14pt]Be patient and always, always keep the faith
