Just received a reply from LVO in response to my query regarding sent docs acknowledgement

Thank you for your email.

Yes, we have received your documents.

For information: lengthy background checks are now in process for your application. We are unable to advise exactly when they will be concluded but they are expected to take a minimum of 6 months. You need take no further action at this time.

Please consider this information before contacting our office again.

Is this a normal reply or lengthy background checks are in real?

sure...in fact we all can negotiate a bulk order from Groupon as quite a few of us need it ... i do have to pick the TAB for our friend three star though.

On a more serious note we really have to give to NDVO. My pain aside, the way they have pulled off FSW2013 is nothing but incredible... yes some VOs like Sao paulo and bucharest have been even faster but they dont have a shade of the workload NDVO has and its literally blasting through it all lately... All they have to do now is send my MR and i am recommending NDVO for the NOBEL prize of best embassies. ;D ;D
