GOT THE PASSPORTS BACK TODAY WITH VISAS.

Guys just wanna share that today we got our visas. My visa issue date is 11/Feb/14, DM status updated on 14/Feb/14. NDVO mailed it on 17/Feb/14 through speed post and i received it today 19/Feb/14 along with 2 Copies of COPRs, (one has photo and other one without photo) and information page, I live in Delhi.

All the best guys, Je vais alle au Quebec (Montreal).

Yes cu82, my third line got updated on 16th Feb, and dd got encashed today. Medicals done on 10th Feb.

can anybody help me explain how to get best exchange rates.....its very urgent.....further how much cash we should carry...means 2000-3000 cad will be enough??? and rest in the form of dd or travelers cheques....

Never exchange from banks. Their exchange rates are really pathetic. Also dnt wait to exchange from airport. Try to go to 3-4 forex companies compare and find out the best rates. Traveller's cheque is fine even though the value will become slightly less at the time of exchange comparing to cash, but its more safe.

days pass like days when waiting for per but with lot of nervousness ......and for MR waiting i guess days pass like months .......and trust me when it comes to dm days pass like years......dont know how the days are passing for guys after dm 8) 8)......but no stage is easy to wait is the moral of the story :-* :-* :-*

Same thing happened to me, received medical, RPRF, and update some documents and also police certificate from Canada last week, When I check my ECas, there is no second line

Hang on there.. since you got the medical request , the second line should be added in few days. They usually update ecas once a week.
arbeh and adonai36 congrats on your MR. Seems like you guys are getting the quickest treatment from CPP-O, ecas can't keep pace with it

The second line has not been added to my ecas as well.
What is the time frame that CPP - O requests for one's passport after Medical.

I also have a question, part of the requirement in my medical letter is Updated evidence of settlement funds (showing 6 months deposits/ withdrawals history) for yourself and your spouse, which indicates a minimum of $17,011 CAD.. Is it that they are asking for the balance in the account to be $17,011 or the activities in the account should equal $17,011.
Should the account be in my name or spouse name?
Can I use a UK or my home country bank statement which is in my name, or I should use Canadian bank statement since I am in Canada? (Though I have not run the Canadian bank statement for up to six months).
