I just found a website (of an ICCRC consultant) stated PCC is valid 1 year for Canada immigration.... Hope its true.... : :

For those of you who have queries regarding PCC, this is what NDVO wrote to me in the MR, PCC, PP email:

Finally, you are required to provide the following additional supporting documents, if they have not already been submitted.
 Police Clearance Certificate(s): From each country where anyone in the following list has resided for six months or longer since the age of 18: the principal applicant spouse or common-law partner (whether they are accompanying or not) each dependent child over the age of 18 years (whether they are accompanying or not)
The Police Clearance Certificate from the country where you are currently residing must be no more than 12 months old. The Police Clearance Certificate from any country where you no longer reside must be issued after your departure from that country or no more than six months before your departure.

Good Lord!! Worrying days shall soon pass...All the best!!

Ok guys here's an update......My HR informed yesterday there was a call from someone 4-5 days back asking them to transfer the phone to me as they wanted to speak with me. Unfortunately i was out of office then so the HR informed them about the same. My HR had asked them repeatedly who they were and what their contact details were but they hadn't obliged and said they would call back again. Just, as a pre-cursor, they have called the receptionist, asked for me and she wasn't aware who i was, so she just transferred the call to the HR. No call again so far. Things looking bleak folks. Tensed!!! Really Tensed!!! Have my medicals tomorrow. This has to be from NDVO as nobody , not even my friends are aware of my plans.

Hi,

did they mention to your HR about your application for Canadian visa?? or that they are calling from the embassy? If not, then it could be some job application and they must be doing a verification check.

Please change my color and status in the ndvo and main excel sheet. I have received my mr forms, with visa fees and passport request on 10th feb. Also I have completed my medicals and submitted all the docs today (19th feb).
