Dear The SUN,
you may wish to apply for your GCMS note in order to find out the reason for the interview call.
[/quote]

Though, I was given the list of original documents to bring for the interview and document examination. The most important is the proof of sufficient funds currently available and police certificates of up till current period. :o

I appreciate Almighty GOD that I have much of the declared fund still in my bank account till date even with significant increment to meet the proof of fund requirements. :D

How do I apply for GCMS?

it's 70 Days and still not DM... don't know wats happening with my application ......!!!! :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

I think I am the only person in this forum to reach this milestone of 70 days!!!

Status on NDVO apps as of now. Similar can be made for all other VOs if it helps. Just added a couple of columns.

For all who are planning on immigrating to Alberta, check out this link. It has good information about things you should do, before arriving there.

Hi Seniors,

The MR and PP email that I received quotes:

Dear XXX:
This refers to your application for Permanent Residence to Canada, as a skilled worker.
In order to establish that you meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, medical examinations and updated application forms and supporting documents are required for the following people, whether accompanying or not.

[[PA, Spouse and Dependent]]

As per this I would have to fill all application forms and attach all supporting documents once again, right?? what a pain in the ***!!!

Has anyone else gotten this request? I'm wonderin why would they want me to do this all over again? Any thoughts??

Also, can someone please send me dates of updated forms, as I want to make sure my computer doesnot open forms from old cache....So, please someone send me list of last updated dates for each form. Appreciate it!

Also, for the PP of my child, I would have to get a new PP made for my baby as she is 2 years old and the email from NDVO quotes:
"If the passport is damaged (pages torn, laminate lifting, etc.), the person no longer resembles the photograph (especially for young children), or the passport will expire within the next six months, you must obtain a new passport before submitting it to us. We recommend children’s passports be no more than two years old."

Thank you members :))

Hello Everyone, I have received Medical Request from NDVO. Also Congratulations to the rest of members for receiving the same. Though I have following doubts if some can help me with that.
1. CIC have asked for all the documents together i.e. Medicals, RPRF, PC & PP. Shouldn't it be like first they ask for Medicals then if medicals are clear then they will ask for passport and fees?

2. For police clearance from New Zealand they have asked me to provide police clearance certificate from New Zealand. But as per the information given on their website I need to provide them the "Consent to Disclosure of Information (NZ) form" which we already gave them long time back. Below is the link from CIC website.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/new-zealand.asp

3. Last but not the least I am in USA on HIB but my wife and Kid are in India. How do I send my passport from USA to India for stamping. I don't know whether sending PP by courier is a right way.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Visa Application Center is the answer for you.
VACs can:

1. answer questions in local languages and make sure that applications are complete
2. transmit application documents and passports to the visa office securely
3. return passport and decision documents securely
4. offer a tracking service
5. schedule interviews and provide application photographs and photocopies for a fee
6. provide access to a computer to apply online (study, work permits and visitor visa only)
7. collect biometrics (fingerprints and photograph)

See this for more information:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/vac.asp

In your scenario, I would recommend that you log a CSE https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=new%20delhi and state your situation.
You should expect a reply with instruction on submitting your passport to the nearest VAC. You need to quote that in your cover letter.

Hope this makes sense.

Re - Posting third time can someone help!!1

As Ii mentioned in my earlier post that i got UCI number when i called CIC..this was the UCI generated for my returned application..i am trying to enter the same in ECas but it doesn't recognize either the old application status nor the new one send to CIC.. would appreciate if someone can throw light ...
UCI - 0000-0000

It will only show information when they cross the first stage (Positive). In my case application returned for first time, so they generated the UCI but there was no status. But when i reapplied so i have to fill the UCI # in the form which they issued at the first time. And second time my application went through all stages and my status got updated first time when my DD encashed, so until or unless you got positive response, it wont show any status.
