Finally got the request for Med, PCCs, RPRF and passports today.
ECAS 2nd line: We started processing your application on February 10, 2014.
Strangely, I also have been asked for a set of fingerprints. Has any one else got this request?
Is there a place for NDVO, where we have FAQs for this stage? I haven't really been following this forum for long and would really appreciate some help. I am in New Delhi.

i found some info from another thread, may be useful;

At ur POE u will be required to undergo the following formalities :-

Sr. No The department to report Docs to present Expected questions.
-------- ------------------------ ---------------- -------------------
1. Custom Officer(CBSA) i. PPT(S) Purpose of visit,Amount of Funds.
ii. Disembarkation form(S) Whether carrying any Alcoholic item
iii. COPR(S) Etc.

2. Immigration OFFICER i ppt(s) Will be asked to present all the
ii. copr (s) for individual nd officer's visa docs.
counter signature,one copy will be Arrangement to stay at POE WITH
returned for personal record. LITTLE DESCRIPTION ABOUT ACCOMMODATION.
iii. Proof of address where PR card can If staying with relative,nature of relationship.
be delivered or may be given a piece
of paper to write down the address
for the said purpose.

U will not be asked about PCC OR Income Tax clearance certificate.

Just googled and found this

In terms of HIV antibody testing, "non reactive" means negative. If your test would have been positive, you would have seen the phrase "repeatedly reactive" ("repeatedly", because the test is always repeated if the result is

One question, since we can not carry all the required funds in cash, is there a way to transfer funds over to canada before entry? I saw on older threads that earlier RBC was having a counter in N.Delhi for such requirement where they were opening accounts upfront before the travel. Now I do see RBS is there in some cities but not sure if they open an account upfront. Anyone has latest info on transfer/limit (upper) of funds?

Just my opinion --since NDVO is the largest VO outside canada, it has given some special preference to clearout files quickly. We can see NDVO has largest numbers of applicants (over 460 from total near about 1000) on FSW13.

They are the most paced vo we are observing now. Beside this, we can see all other VOs including fast paced CPP-O has speed even slower than NDVO now. Initially LVO started to issue few MR , after then they are also silent now. Case history for Manila has similar story. None of the VO started the storm like NDVO.

Lets see what SGVO,LVO and other slow VOs gonna do...May be when they start to issue flow of MR, it will be a storm of lightning...

I think sgvo also should start very soon as finally all vo have to process in one year.

You can open accound in sctotia bank, form any kotak mahindra bank branch you can open this account in india. transfer your fund in this account. (I think single transition pl check with bank) and than use the account in CANADA as its well known bank there

again if not doing so take demand draft of your name and payable at canada of required amount open account at canada it self and than submit the draft in account
