by the grace of god ..i recieved MR ,PPR,LANDING FEES AND REQUEST FOR MARRIAGE PICS AND OTHER CASUAL PICS.I WAS VERY TENSED FROM LAST FEW DAYS...Iwish all the best to everyone who are waiting for the golden mail.

Interview confirmation acknowledgement

This question is for LVO applicants called for interview to Embassy of Canada in Abu Dhabi.

The interview letter stated that after I send an email confirming I would attend the interview, LVO would send an acknowledgement that my interview has been confirmed.

So far I have not received an acknowledgement. Has anyone else received it? If so, when?

Your help would be appreciated.

I disagree with you. I guess there might be some off days in between where they do some paperwork and send out notifications on the other days. I am guessing activity will resume from tomorrow or from next Monday tops.

I don't think they ALL do the same work at the same time. probably, they split up into groups, checking on queries,AOR,BGC's,MR's,PP,DM's and so on......a batch of staff for every stage of the FSW process.

I got mail with UCI in which middle name is not correct as i mentioned, then i check ECAS from this UCI number even there they are displaying same wrong name as it is in mail.. ??? ???
However i check my copy of application there i wrote correct name as it is in passport,IELTS, Degree certificates, Marriage certificate and all documents.

just thought to applu for PCC before hand, coz of the strikes going on in AP at the moment.

Yeah you are right.. Hope you receive your MR soon.

Guys, I've received our Passports today with the shiny Maple leaf on them. Visa issue date 4-Feb-2014, expiring 14-Oct-2014 which is the expiry date for my passport as well. My spouse also has the same visa expiry although her passport will expire in 2019...but I understand the logic.
Surprisingly there's no photo on our visas. The COPR copies does have our photos affixed to them.
Along with received WES original certificate, transcripts and 'few' referral letters. What I can't answer here is that 'few' and why not all or none at all !!!

Thanks to the lovely people here for their continued support, humor and time to time guidance - most importantly, the ability to have a clear visibility of where I stood in this race all the time, what are peoples' timelines and when can I expect what - is a USP of this wonderful thread and spreadsheet. If our hardwork is the gateway, this forum is the eye to direct your focus to the right gateway !!

My file started processing on the same day as yours, then I should have received MR by now...But I haven't...

Yeah probably. Looks like VOs assigned to each NOC have their own working style which is evident from some applications not following FIFO.
