hi all,

my Ecas status is " started processing application 6th of January 2014". till now we haven`t recieved medical request. I have submitted PCC of all my family members together with initial application (from India,UK). I am little bit worried on this matter. please tell us what all are the reasons for delaying medical request.

Ok the sms i was talking is the one you get when you submit through VFS.
If you have submitted through Bluedart. you will not get any SMS for the processed pp.
I would suggest to get in touch with your area( mailing address in application ) postman and inform that you are expecting PP.

I believe they return through registered post if you have not opted for VFS to collect on your behalf.

ok i guess i have to wait more for this sms. I haven't received it yet. It has been updated on my ecas -decision made. By when should i expect this sms? Though I don't rem if there was a section to give number? i submitted my PP via bludedart

I suggest you to call to this number back by finding some time today itself....You are July applicant right? Still I don't think it is the time to do BGC for July applicants... However, anything can happen....

Depending upon your location of stay, and they uses Registered Speed Post, so it might not take more than 4-5 days to reach you.

Don't know my fate yet , but looks like Canada will be a dream...as mentioned earlier my waiting continues... applied in 2006.. application sent back (backlog).. applied in 2013 ..file sent on may 20th 2013.. file returned ... now the story starts yesterday when i called CIC to find out the new status of my application which was resend ( applied January 2014 )..

Initial application send - May 2013
Application received at CIO - 29th august ( weird )
Application return to the consultant - 5th November
Document i got in my hand - December 12th

Consultant gave my documents and didnt provide me with UCI ( re-applied without UCI )-- only yesterday i got to know my UCI after calling CIC

My consultant took me for a ride...

now that i have re applied - SELF don't trust any of the ****** consultants ..

its been 8 years .............. looking for a light at the end of the tunnel.....

I really hope some miracle happens in my case

May be tomorrow through registered post, you can try contacting Postman. My DM also on 02nd February but received passport yesterday.

hi,members my friend also applied in fsw 2013 he submitted his passport in month of december.he has very urgent work in abroad,so he wrote e-mail to NDVO.today he got reply from NDVO in that they mention your file is waiting for final review by officer.so, what does it mean.please reply.............................................

Dear diode, it means that all crim, BG checks are completed and they are doing final checks in the application. If I am not wrong, your friend should receive Visa in next couple of weeks.
