Pepto will have to move back to India for submitting the passport and I believe, this is what he/she is planning to.

Exactly my point. That was my response to Q3.

uffff.....finally im getting my pcc from psk and also from police commissioner in next 4 days after running here and there like a mad dog in last 10 days....so now i have two pcc's one from psk and one from commissioner....is it ok if i send both my pcc's to ndvo bcoz none of them came easily to me...i have put in lot of sweat.....if in case i have to send only one then which one is better to send :-* :-* :-*..also will it create unnecessary confusion if i send both my pcc to ndvo

Thanks for the pray Maria.

I believe, you guys will have double chances of getting settled sooner than other families in which single partner is the working partner. As soon as you or your husband get the job in Canada, you car will start moving in Canada. ;D ;D ;D

This is also true that sooner we move there, sooner we get citizenship and obviously, if someone plans to land only and move later, he/she has to compromise on this.

Your calculations are OK; might change little bit depending on where you land & stay in Canada.

I agree :D Ameen...

but ofcourse moving out of comfort zones n leaving jobs behind is a big question....me n my husband r working here in uae at reasonable packages if not grand...
and to move out and quits jobs would be our biggest decision....apart from our marriage decision :D but the sooner we move, the sooner we may adjust...and get a canadian passport one day ;D

anyhow we plan to land together permanently with our toddler this year inshaAllah....but then managing expenses even for 2-3 months without a job gives the greatest fear...
a reasonable 2-bedroom is ranging from cad$1000/- to cad$1500/- per month...then food/other expenses maybe cad$1000/- per month..
rent a car or used car expenses...other mandatory expenses on landing....

anybody else with a better calculation??? :-X

Another dry day I guess .....WTF .......really so tensed ....!!!!!!!!

Well yes, Pepto can appear for medical examination in Canada; once he/she recieves "Medical results recieved" line on his/her ECAS, he/she can immediately move back to India to submit his/her passport. This is just my suggestion, rest is his/her decision according to his/her situation.

Hi friends,
I am in a fix and need advice.
2nd line has been added to my ecas and hoping to get the MR anytime now. But the problem is my husband works in Saudi Arabia and his passport is with his employer. If he asks for the passport he needs to hand over his iqama (residence permit card) without which it is not possible to live there. So is it possible to ask for an extension to submit the passport?
Any suggestions please.
mantan

Your husband can take vacation for 2 months and come to india to submit his PP.

Then rigorously follow up with urgent messages to NDVO for releasing your PP.

If you are lucky then NDVO will release your PP soon.

Other way around is to do Medicals in Saudi and send PP with someone travelling to India and living without Residence Permit in Saudi but this is risky as nowadays too many checking going on in Saudi to catch illegals.

Good Morning Folks!

I just saw that the second line has been added in ECAS " We started processing your application on January 27, 2014." So Happy :D :D - Thank You God and all of you guys.

I have updated my details couple of times, but somehow it doesn't reflect the complete details. Below is my timeline - hope this helps to get the trend with NDVO folks ..

Category........: FSW1
Visa Office......: New Delhi
NOC Code......: 0211
App. Filed.......: July 8th 2013
Signed for by..: TOM
CC Charged on: Oct 4 2013
PER: Oct 9 2013
File Transferred: Nov 1 2013
Processing Started on: Jan 27th 2014

I have couple of questions and need your advice ..

#1. PCC --> My India PCC is about 5 months old now. Should I go ahead and initiate the PCC process with PSK, Bangalore immediately? Last time I got it from bangalore police and they took more than a month - how long does it take to get the PCC from PSK? Your suggestion, guideance would be helpful.

#2. POF --> Understanding this part was always intricate to me. During application submission, I submitted my wife's and mine PPF, Super Annuation, PF proofs and other savings certificates (e.g. ULIP, which are matured and can be withdrawn at any point of time) as well in addition to the standard bank deposits. Do you think all of these are valid or should we make some alternate arragements? Hopefully NDVO would be fine when I submit savings statemenst from my wife's accounts as well.

I have an unencumbered real state property (no loan/liability associated with the property), is there a way I can submit the market value of that as well for POF? If yes, how do we have to do that?

For rest of the folks who are still waiting .. All of your files will also move ahead of the current state and almightly God will have your dreams fulfilled.

Cheers!
