hey..congratulations...happy for u...u applied in september or in may ??

did u got any interview or background check. i'm may applicant..dont know why ndvo is processing may files so slow.

Majority of the applications for the NOC's that were filled in the first couple of months were filed in May. So of all the files that NDVO has, ~30-40% will be from May. Not all applicants who filed their application in may are in this forum, but some of them might be receiving MR in the background. Once the May application clears, then it will be quick for the remaining guys as the amount of applications are much less in remaining months after July onwards.

IELTS is valid for 2 years from the date the test was done and NOT 3 years.

URGENT!!!! URGENT!!!!!

Guys, Need your help in answering these questions.

If someone is working in Quebec province while his FSW application is going on, will he needs to leave Quebec immediately after his FSW PR is approved? I have completed my medical exam for FSW and have paid the RPRF. My Employer is offering me a project in Quebec province and asking me to initiate the work visa to travel in 25 days. It looks like my PR will get approved only while I am there in Quebec as I did not receive the passport request from them..

As I am not eligible to work in Quebec through FSW PR, my questions are:

1. Does the FSW PR gets activated immediately as soon as its approved(if I am already in Canada)?
2. Do I need to leave Quebec ASAP once the PR is approved? If yes, How many days will I have to do that. If not, Can I continue to work in Quebec till my work visa is valid?
3. How will I be able to switch from Work visa to my PR? Do I need to leave Canada and come back again using my PR visa?
4. If my Employer apply for Canada work visa for me now, will it have ANY impact(good/bad) on my current PR application?

Thanks so much for all your help and guidance. I need this information ASAP as my Employer is pushing me to documents for initiating the work visa.

All the best!!!

Yes u r right. As per CIC website, IELTS is valid for 2 years. However, I heard from migration agents that IELTS is valid for 3 years for immigration purpose but its better to redo it instead of taking any risk.

Seniors,

I completed my medicals today. I have sent my passports via Blue Dart.

Rest is in the embassy's hands.

Regards,
Mav

I don't get this. Do you obey CIC guidelines or migration agents. It might have worked for that migration agent on some few occasions but I will follow CIC guidelines to avoid any disappointment. That is my take anyway.

As I am not eligible to work in Quebec through FSW PR, my questions are:

FSW can also work in Quebec. They can at first land in Toronto for completing landing formalities and then immediately move to Quebec and work there.

Pls see the following link

Rawdah, I don't think we can live or work in Quebec province through FSWP. Please see the link below:
