i want to ask one question...please reply...
I am going for medicals in 2-3 days...my wife is pregnant and due date is in June....should i inform this to NDVO( in case specific link as well as in a cover letter while sending my passports to NDVO)....or only after birth of my child i should inform them...as informing them now may delay my case...but even if i don't inform them i guess medical report will tell them that my wife is pregnant...so what should i do...inform them or not??????

@ raghav - Can you throw some light and share you experience regarding CIIP seminar? As in, how long it goes on, strength, what is being discussed and most importantly how you benefited from it.

There are two sessions on two separate days..you need to register with your file no and also upload a resume with your experience etc.

Group Orientation Session (GO Session)
Personalized Planning Session (MAP Session)

Group Orientation Session (GO Session):

They start of with introduction abour CIIP what is it all about, they have a presentation like about 200 slides with all the key statistical information such as population, current trends, empoyment rates and salaries etc off all states.



After landing what are the key things to be done. Where to apply for health card. How to open a bank account etc.

This is a very informative session which can be a key deciding factor on where to arrive and settle down.


Personalized Planning Session (MAP Session) :

This is a one to one session, where the orientation officer will ask your details. They analyze our resume and recommend related occupations for job search.

How to look for jobs. How to start of with. How to get references and what are the partner programs that are available.

They discuss our short term and long term goals. Guide us on how to search for information.

They also assign a CIIP representative to us , so that we can reach the before landing and seek information,advice, etc.

They also provide us a MAP document which will have a lot of highlighted information on what is discussed and important to us by the orientation. This highlighted information is for us to research and do some homework before we land.



All in all this whole exercise is for us to gain as much information as we can and settle down in any occupation or related occupation. They say that if we do a proper research we can settle down in a good job within less than 3 - 5 months.


Very useful information, my suggestion to all off you is to attend it and moreover it is totally free........

NO IDEA YET MDEC - TENSION SOARING NOW.. Nothing is clear that till which date apps are in for 2263 , For me a wild guess - Till Dec 15 - 18th.

In coming week the picture will be well cleared.

Is there anything that changed for NDVO in the last 10 days? Any Visa for NDVO applicant?

Just a heads up.
I got a mail yesterday at 0856 Hrs - just one day past the due date of submission of docs to CHC - from DELHIIMMIGRATION (the same ID from which I got Medical requests) but that was all about a invitation (reminder) to participate in CIIP; nothing else. Haven't yet registered for it, though.

Some of you also might have got similar email.

My ECAS status update shows that they have started processing my application on December 9th(yes its DECEMBER 9th) I have been patiently waiting for the MR since then. And then suddenly yesterday i received the invitation to attend the CIIP program. The confusion is whether they have send the invites for CIIP for all applicants or is it for guys who received MR already?? if its for "already MR received" guys, then i haven't received it so far. Please guide.

Hi Mate .. yes it is for MR guys only ... When you register for CIIP you need to upload the MR form as proof. This is mandatory.


Since you have received the invitation .. i guess your MR is also on the way ......and you shall receive it soon.
