Great Day of this immigration journey!

Today I got my Passport with Canadian Visa.

My Visa was issued on 17/01/2014.

Application reached at CIC on 13/05/2013 and after 8 months and 10 days, this process came to at logical end.

Happy and excited too.

My sincere thanks goes to all the forum members who had advised selflessly throughout this period. You guys are really genuine.

I also pray with almighty god to give this opportunity of being happy to all the friends as soon as possible.

I mentioned Toronto as part of my Port of entry in my FSW documents. I am planning to drive to Canada from NY, USA.

Is it okay to land in Canada by road? I mean, I hope all the Immigration formalities could be been done at the Canada check point.. I never been to Canada from US, so I am not sure what actually happen when you are landing in Canada by road to do the PR formalities. After the approval, I have got 1 year of Visa for Canada, am I am supposed to enter in the Canada once before Nov 2014 since Visa is only valid for a year or so.

I sent my passports and as per blue dart in received by field no name is mentioned just it says stamp.

I just wanted to b sure if this is normal or smthing to worry that my pp's landed in safe hands

Mode of payment was CC. First time i checked on 20th of Jan and it was already in process

I got my Passport Request today...
Ecas added 2nd line - we started processing your application on January 16th ( 3rd line was added on September 1- Medical Received)

Last week I got my GCMS and really worried about the delay of processing. but today UNEXPECTEDLY I got PPR...

I asked the moderators/admin for the link to update my records last time and I am sure they will be happy to help you too.
You just need to provide them with the information or ask for access to the link. you can also look at some of the senior forum members profile and the link is there. I hope it helps. I am only a Newbie so don't know how the forum works very well.
