Well firstly, if you are still in saudi, it is comparitively easy... (comparitively in terms of everything in Saudi)... you need to get a form from your local Police station for PCC, then get it attested by MOFA and Chamber of commerce. Now these two agencies dont entertain people like us, so you need to ask your employer to help you... and as you know, the employers will not be happy to hear that you have a Canadian visa procedure in progress... so better start finding alternatives...

Hi Husman,

I got my Saudi PCC from Riyadh yesterday. It is comparatively easy as Bhaumick said. Send an email to riyadh.visa@international.gc.ca requesting for a request letter for PCC stating ur details and by which method u require the letter to be sent. It is either by arames or normal post. Aramex is next day delivery but costs me 200 SAR. Normal mail is 15 days. U need the request letter in original. Take the request letter to the MOFA office and get it attested. Then take this letter to the police station where fingerprints are taken and an acknowledgement is given and told to come after a week or so. Then go and collect PCC which needs to be again translated.

Dear BHfsw2174, I think the officer who got our files to process is still on vacation or recently joined this month. I am filing my GCMS, will let all know what I get back. I am already thinking of alternatives, history tells that small set of apps that were held back took really long to process by NDVO.

Dont worry Nancy, Sooner or later you will get that request too. I too applied on 12th June One probable reason for the delay could be documentation (verification of education credentials and/or work experience).

Just cling on... You're not far!

bhFSW2174 same applies to you bro. I know its really hard to wait for so long. But that's the only thing you can do for now. They cannot reject an application if your documents are genuine. You are bound to get the MR mail soon. Hang on there mate!
