hi guys,

i have been asked to submitt PCC,MR,RPRF along with my passport long back and the last date to submit this was feb 6th , i was able to aquire all of them except PCC from USA since i have been there!!! its been 3 weeks now i have applied for US PCC am really tensed now on how many more days its gone take, do you think CIC can give an extension for deadline if asked ? experts please advise on this

Wait till about 30th Jan. If it doesnt come, then send all other items with a covering letter saying why you are unable to send the US PCC right now... THey understand such things. Nothing wrong... you can also attach any form, etc that you would've filled for the PCC....

what if one doesn't have income tax - form-16's ? will it be any trouble at all.

Actually Tax returns or Form16 ..... ITRs........ are treated as gunshot proofs for legal work.......
Even now you can get them ....... If you don't have them by now......

I'm in the similar boat , they asked for my wife US PCC , last date is mid Feb and I think PCC will reach by Feb end.

What am wondering is , evenif I sent out passport , they wount do anything till , the received her PCC , which will block our passport for long time

Form-16 is not at all a mandatory document, only a supporting document. If you have the reference letter in the required format, there is no need of anything else. every other document is only supplementary..

my entire salary was on consolidated basis, so I don't have the F-16's. I do have the salary certificate and the pay stubs. but someone else has posted that they are the legal documents which will be given more priority.

The way I see it, cap of 5000 will not be reached by April 30, 2014.
He has very bright chances of making it.

Wanted to clarify, what amount is payable.
Is it $490/- for Principal and Spouse, EACH? child being<22yrs, is exempted?

And what is "certified" cheque, NVDO website has listed this as an option to pay fees.

its never gonna reach...with the kind of noc's left...
