Dear All,

I enquired with my bank whether my RPRF DD is encashed or not. They checked and confirmed that my DD was encashed on 4th Jan 2014. Admin Please update this on NDVO spread sheet. My Passport was received by NDVO 16th Dec 2013.

if your noc is 2144, there is no harm in re-applying as the cap for your noc is 85. do it asap.

Thank you luqi and MLT3211. There is another thing i want to share. I filled fee payment form electronically and made a mistake of writing last number of my CC as 0 which is actually 1. But I have just observed that fee payment form automatically corrects the last number of CC. For example, if i write 7, it will change that to 6, or in my case when i wrote 1, forms automatically changed that to 1. Mistake on my part is that i didnt cross check. Anyways, I would like to know if that has happened with anyone else? and yes I will apply this week inshallah. Your words of encouragemnt are very much appreciated.

no worries. Make your mode of payment this time a demand draft which is the safest method. applicants with CC payment have faced a lot of issues.

Finally, London Starts with a BANG!!! Interviews. I wish you all guys good luck.

NDVO, Hats off to them, they are working really well. I wish LVO stop issuing interviews and start working properly. I guess they are just borrowing a little more time to clear backlogs because, they are going to get at least 1 month extra with this. What do you think?

I don't think it is a stalling tactic. They might be busy but I prefer to think that they are honest!
I suppose the only way they could really stall is to ignore files totally. They probably would have to record why they made an interview selection decision into GCMS - which would then be readable in the future by the applicant, so "Suggested an interview to keep those LVO applicants off our back for a while" would be amusing but get them into trouble.

Perhaps some of the folks invited to interview will request their GCMS notes to find out the reason, but in any case I think we can hope now that they have begun processing some of our files, which is great news.

Have you guys received AOR, as it is not updated in the spread sheet? If not, Have you started any communication with CIC. In my case more than 80 days have been passed and I have not received AOR.

What a blunder my consultant did? Received my AOR on 6th Nov and informing me today . Now feeling great..left the green colour.

■you applied for a visa from any of the following locations: Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Denmark, England, Finland, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nepal, Northern Ireland, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, Wales and Yemen
■you are completing the application process for a Canadian immigrant visa, usually in a stage where you have been requested to undergo your medical examinations, and security and background checks have been initiated
■you have received one of the following:
1. an invitation letter and CIIP brochure

Abu Dhabi Well that's the first. I thought it is going to be held at Islamabad :/ Now you'll have to arrange UAE Visa along with flight expenditure. That's insanity..
