Passports request on 3-Dec-2013 (not 12-Dec)
Passports delivered to NDVO (along with other docs) on 17-Dec-2013
RPRF DD liquidated on 4-Jan-2014.

Mate, it was in INR for two adults drawn on HDFC for beneficiary Canadian High Commission valid for 3 months.

Just received all the MR form in mail as it was mentioned they will send in 48 Hrs in yesterdays email. feeling good after a very long wait. Wish every one get their MR by Jan End.

The only delay is UK police clearance for which i have to wait. its going to take 2 weeks.

I sent my RPRF in CAD. would it take more time than the INR? I really think that the currency should not make a huge difference as a DD is as good as cash. anybody here who knows how they go about with it?
