While my hope is down to 1%, I am trying to search for any news in 2014 FSWP Plans to support the notice issued on Nov 2013 ---> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2013-11-01.asp. maybe you guys has atleast any info. Or maybe this will run from May 2014- December 2014? or nothing at all?

they have reported BG check around 16-19th Dec. But then is there any ECAS update in their status..!!

From NDVO it appears that the pace of MRs have slowed down lately... since December end. i shortlisted three reasons for this :

* They cleared all the straightforward applications first! ( what's straightforward and whats not is debatable... )
* members who are getting MRs are not reporting it promptly as they get busy with medicals and packing their suitcases
* this is the calm before the storm and we will have an MR rain, in not so distant future, quite similar to the PER rain in which case, i strongly recommend you keep your seat belts fastened

may be you are true..!!!

Just received all the MR form in mail as it was mentioned they will send in 48 Hrs in yesterdays email. feeling good after a very long wait. Wish every one get their MR by Jan End.

The only delay is UK police clearance for which i have to wait. its going to take 2 weeks.

wow!!! many congrats for getting MR wish you good luck ahead......
hope early may applicants like me will also clear this stage sooner...

Well,,, The question would be has your friend ever saw anyone facing issues in Airport regarding Not Accepting certain Banks Document during Visa Activation ??

One user has an experience of landing to Canada from US with a bank statement as Proof of funds. The following his quote:

I immigrated to Canada thru skilled worker route and although I was instructed to have a proof of funds such as a bank statement, the immigration officer didn't even check it and didn't ask. When I showed her, she said it was not necessary. This was March 2009.

Passports delivered to NDVO (along with other docs) on 17-Dec-2013
RPRF DD liquidated on 4-Jan-2014.
