Police Clearance Certificate. I am assuming that by PR fee you mean, Right to Permanent Residence Fee also known as RPRF.

Hi, didn't we give the police clearance certificates in along with the application.

Thanks

You're right. It's the same here in the UK I guess. I have employed folks from abroad in some companies in the past, and they have always been those with a good CV (our Résumé format)

I've seen so many terrible CV's by people from abroad that I have to check myself to ensure I'm not being xenophobic when I see a CV that doesn't show somebody has been working here for a few years. If somebody asked why they didn't get an interview it would be easy to be more polite than honest, so we might tell them it was their lack of experience rather than "your CV was riddled with grammatical errors and I wouldn't think you would give the right impression to our customers when speaking/writing to them."

The most common sort of thing I see that puts me off is when people sprinkle "due respect" or similar in their covering letters, or using words like "obviously" without realising the condescension that can be implied.

I can see why Canadian Experience might be presented as a very big hurdle for us coming from abroad, but I think the best way to overcome it is to check Résumés with locals and pick up the local phrases and jargon (as Canadians often just call companies in the first instance to enquire about jobs).

A link on Résumés: http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Resume-Canada

well said loncan..thanks..I was learning on this and what i found was, there are four factors and if one has gap in any of this then it might get delayed in getting job.

1.research about your skills and medium of searching
the important things is to know much about the job searching strategy and market for particular occupation ,for 2174 what could be better approach?, is there any consultants?,which are good job portals?,which are consultancy dealing with your skills? ext. having this info at place one can target and hunt the job effectively.also if one require training to find job then better to finish it in india and land in canada.

2nd is presentation , this covers cv,cover letters ext, this also covers attire, manners for face to face interview ,and also about the dos and dont while giving interview on call or skype.

3rd is interview practice , it require attention as in canada most of employer take HR round first to know candidate. google and youtube will help much on this.

4th for s/w jobs it is required to have knowledge of technical stuff, business domain and most important how you derive solutions from business requirement/issues/problems ext. This there side makes triangle. they always try to check not only technical knowledge but also about ability to solve the problems and understand the business domain as well.

Unfortunately it seems you were late. Applications received until 4-5th of July received PER in NOC 2147.
You will receive your application back.
